Shadow of the Colossus style build [3.5]
So, one of my players is playing a kobold. This kobold likes to jump onto large enemies and inflict grievous bodily harm, Shadow of the Colossus style.
What feats/skills/skill tricks/classes/combos are there that can make this trick awesome? Some characters of mine: http://lmaorpg.proboards.com/index.c...read=90&page=1

Re: Shadow of the Colossus style build [3.5]
Your friend wants The Lancer, by Tempest Stormwind. Unfortunately WoTC sucks and screwed up their message board. Don't have a link to the build.
Anyone have a saved copy on their hard drive or know another link?"We have sent many to Hell, to smooth our way," said I, "and we are standing yet and holding blades. What more?"- Roger Zelazny, This Immortal

Re: Shadow of the Colossus style build [3.5]
There is the idea that you could do a Barbarian and get into Black Blood Cultist as a grapple monster. It's not really ideal, but it'd definitely get the "I grab and shred things" flavor down pat. Not so much on the "I stab it in it's magical weakspot" though.
All that I say applies only to myself. You author your own actions and choices. I cannot and will not be responsible for you, nor are you for me, regardless of situation or circumstance.

Re: Shadow of the Colossus style build [3.5]
Right, we've sorted it. Our fix is to use the variant 'grab on' grapple rules from Races of War, Improved Grapple, and Rogue for sneak attack. He's also taking a lot of the movement skill tricks from Complete Scoundrel, for more crazy awesome ways to jump on you and stab your weak points.

Re: Shadow of the Colossus style build [3.5]
That's what's great about these grapple rules; to hang on you use a climb or ride check, while they use an attack action or escape artist to try and shake you off.

What you're looking for is probably the Giantbane tactical feat from Complete Warrior, which has one of its maneuvers being to climb onto larger foes and stab them till they shake you off.

You might get away with a variant of the Other Killer Gnome.
