Quick Incarnum Question
Hey all.
Have a player that just threw me for a loop. Can you shape 1 meld to multiple chakras if the meld lists multiple binds?

Re: Quick Incarnum Question
Not initially, there is a feat I think, but normally binding a chakra to a location locks it to that place.

Re: Quick Incarnum Question
No, you can't.
Specifically, this is addressed on page 50 of Magic of Incarnum, first paragraph of the 'Meld Selection' portion, second to last sentence.
To quote:
"[You] can't shape the same soulmeld more than once."
There is no feat I know of to bypass this. You can get a feat to have two melds share a chakra, and even have two melds be bound to the same chakra, you can get a feat to wear a magic item and have a bound soulmeld, but you can't shape the same soulmeld twice.
In terms of having one soulmeld occupy two chakras, you can't do that either, which is addressed on the same page. You choose a chakra to shape it/bind it to.
The only exception to this is the Totemist, which can bind a single meld to its Totem Chakra and another chakra once they reach 11th level.Last edited by AmberVael; 2010-09-26 at 01:56 PM.
