Does this spell exist?
I need a spell that pushes people in an area outside the area. Something similar to the way Melf's Unicorn Arrow bull rushes, but in a sizeable area, as to hit 5 or more creatures.
Does one exist?Rules that supersede Rule 0:
Rule -1: You're all there to have fun. The GM and the players should never do anything that would limit people's fun, for any in-game or real-life reason.
Rule -0.5 (corollary): That means that if someone's fun is getting in the way of other people's fun, that person needs to change how they're playing.

Re: Does this spell exist?
Yes. I don't recall what book it is in currently. I want to say it's called Force Blast or something like that. It's in possibly tome of blood.
AVATAR by Ninjaman!
Elf ranger went a scoutin' and found a half-dragon ogre with a greataxe. I soon had a half-elf. ~ Pelfaid's first character death.

Forcewave; a personal burst
Defenestrating Sphere; ranged duration.
Both in Spell compendium. I believe they are both 4th level evocations.

doesn't locate city bomb not work? I thought they determined that it just pushed you 5ft up and since a 5ft fall does no damage your safe?

Re: Does this spell exist?
Strict RAW, you're right. It think the argument usually goes that a circle is rather useless so the developers really meant it to be a sphere/cylinder... but, not RAW. So Locate City bombs are really more useful to those who wish to harbinger in the wightocolypse than for bombing.
Proudly without a signature for 5 years. Wait... crap.

Re: Does this spell exist?
Ah yes, the "Locate City Nuke doesn't work because Locate City can't locate cities argument". As if that makes things better / it would be totally fine otherwise.
Ya there's all kinds of spells that move foes.Last edited by ericgrau; 2010-10-01 at 07:29 PM.
So you never have to interrupt a game to look up a rule again:

The ninja speaks the truth. It's like killing the boss by kicking him through a window to his demise. With your mind.

Re: Does this spell exist?
Defenestrating Sphere. I'm thirding this. Its awesome/hilarious.
"78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature."
I really haven't. The players quickly move to the tavern after the campaign starts but they never start there. Even the three which have taken place in a city.
