Re: (3.5) Why is Dungeoncrasher Fighter so well-regarded?
One of the main strategies is to fly and pound enemies into the ground repeatedly, I think. I've never played one, but I hear that's one good way to do it.

Shock Trooper > Directed Bull Rush. Bull Rush can move foes diagonally.
Knockback > Power Attack for 1 or more. Bull Rush all the time.
If you're on an open, featureless plane? Sure, it's not great until you can reliably fly. If you're in, say, a dungeon? Or a forest, or the city, or any place that has actual terrain features? Suddenly you're triggering it after every attack.Originally Posted by The Giant

Re: (3.5) Why is Dungeoncrasher Fighter so well-regarded?
It gives Fighter class features. And honestly, ground is a solid object. Use Rampaging Bull Rush to make someone prone and Bull Rush them to the ground. It's an immense damage bonus. And the random bonuses don't hurt either. Overall, it's just a Fighter that does something. Though mostly, it's just an easy way to deal lots of damage. 8d6+3xStr on every attack? Not bad.
