Where can I find this class/PrC?

I heard of a fire-based class or prestige class that allows them to lower resistance to fire and/or immunity to it. I cannot remember what it was called or where to find it. Is it homebrew or actual content? Can someone point me in the right direction?

As for a class or prestige class, I've not heard of one. There is, however, searing spell, a metamagic feat from Sandstorm that allows you to ignore fire resistance and do half damage to fire immune creatures with your fire spells, at +1 spell level. A must-have for pyromaniac fire casters, in my opinion.

It's actually in Five Nations. It lets you turn fire damage into sacred damage.

EDIT: Also lets you cast Paladin spells. Nice.

It also sets your caster level for fire spells to your character level, so you don't need to suffer from the multiclassing issue of caster level loss.
