Phaerimm maneuverability?
So I'm plotting out an idea for a setting where Phaerimm are a key race, and I've run into a pretty basic problem: what's their flight maneuverability?
LEoF 188 states: "Flight (Ex): Because a phaerimm’s body is naturally buoyant, it can fly at a speed of 30 feet. This buoyancy also grants the creature a permanent feather fall effect (as the spell) with personal range."
The flavor text reads: "An immense, conical creature floats in the air ahead," implying that they have good maneuverability at the very least (ability to hover). Does anyone know for sure, though? Am I missing something?
Thanks

Re: Phaerimm maneuverability?
I'd say it's the same as the beholders'; the text seems to mimic that of the beholder entry.

Re: Phaerimm maneuverability?
It should say in the statistics block next to its fly speed.

Re: Phaerimm maneuverability?
Celestis, you're right, it should. But it doesn't even mention that they HAVE a fly speed there!
"Aberration
Environment: Underground
Organization: Hatchling, juvenile, and young adult: solitary or
clutch (2–5); adult, mature adult, elder, and revered elder:
solitary, pair, or hive (3–6 plus 2–8 offspring)
Challenge Rating: Hatchling 1; juvenile 5; young adult 9; adult
12; mature adult 15; elder 18; revered elder 21
Treasure: Double standard
Alignment: Usually neutral evil Advancement: Hatchling 2–3 HD; juvenile 5–6 HD; young adult 8–9 HD; adult 11–12 HD; mature adult 14–15 HD;
elder 17–18 HD; revered elder 20+ HD
Level Adjustment: Hatchling +2, juvenile +3, young adult +4, adult +5, mature adult +6, others —"
Weird. Seems a silly oversight. Particularly given the Phaerimm's historical significance in FR.
Lhurgyof, thanks, that seems a fair point.

Re: Phaerimm maneuverability?
3.0 they had 10-ft land speed, 30-ft (good). They also didn't have age categories.

Re: Phaerimm maneuverability?
That's the age block. The individual ages should have detailed stat blocks.
