We kept playing along because you hadn't caught on yet, but now that the cat's out of the bag, we can drop this whole "human history" thing, and work on another project. Sapient penguin history, maybe?

Weird question, but does anyone know what a green chromatic dragon's breath attack is supposed to look like? I know when Tinder used it Coffee drew it as a slightly transparent green ray, which gets the point across fine, but I thought using the exact same effect as Coffee might sort of defeat the purpose of doing an adaptation of the strip so I wanted to do a slightly different one. The problem is that I don't actually know quite what Tinder's meant to be doing there. Long story short: is this attack supposed to be like breathing a targeted cloud of gas/vapour or is it meant to be more like a torrent of acid coming out in liquid form? I'm leaning towards the former, I tried googling it but didn't come up with much which might mean that it's left up to player preference in d&d. I know in the long run it's hardly a big deal, but it kind of changes how it might be drawn...

I... I knew that. Yeah. I certainly did. No gullibility here. Move along. (It would explain why I can't for the life of me remember anything that happened '78, though. Aside from me not having been around back then and also not being a time-traveling psychic. Which I am not, I tell you. Not! And don't let the system tell you otherwise. )

The good part is that I am actually prepared for a reveal like this...

Erm... I mean... Well... Those sapient penguins sure have a long and interesting history, eh? Has anyone of you read up on the Penguin-Yeti-Wars? That stuff was intense.

I always assumed the former. Especially since the SRD description of it being a cone of corrosive (acid) gas does not seem to fit with a liquid form in my book.

No problem. The black dragon's breath attack being a related, but different effect, that problem comes up quite often anyway.
