character generator?
hi all, i was looking for a character sheet generator for dnd 3.5, i have a few npcs i want to help the party but i dont want to have to go through the task of making all the characters when i could just press a button and it's already done, they are just npcs so i dont care if they are good lol, they'll prolly die anyway. thanks!

Re: character generator?
If they're noncombatant NPCs, you don't need to stat them. If the PCs attack them, they simply die (if you statted them instead, they would still die in the first round, which is why you shouldn't bother).
Only stat NPCs that are important and your PCs have a reasonable chance of fighting and winning against. No need to stat out a level 20 archmage when the party is at level 5 since the former will one-shot them whether or not he gets statted out.

Re: character generator?
MythWeaver's NPC Generator makes instant NPCs, although they do tend to be pretty terrible. You could make them and swap out feats to make them slightly less awful, though.

Re: character generator?
I prefer Heroforge, for the Excel-based creation format.

Re: character generator?
HeroForge doesn't do it automagically though. It's brilliant for CharGen, not so much for creating 50 mooks.
