(3.5) Armour materials.

Quick question for anyone who has some knowledge about 3.5 that I don't- I'm playing a character with 14 dexterity and trying to get the highest armour class possible, and was thinking mithril full plate but for campaign specific reasons DM won't allow mithril. Are there any other armour materials that increase the maximum dex bonus?

There is entropium from Arms and Equipment Guide. It increases the MDB by 2 but makes the armor category one higher, -2 to dex based ACP and +2 to str based ACP and -10% ASP.

There are several alternative materials:

Glassteel (Champions of Valor, other sources). Same benefits as mithral.
Darkleaf (A&EG, ECS). Max Dex +1, ACP -2, lighter weight category.
Blue Ice (Frostburn). Max Dex +1, ACP -2, lighter weight category.
Chitin (Races of the Dragon). Max Dex +1.
Sentira (Secrets of Sarlona). Same benefits as mithral, used for emotional armor.
Wildwood (Races of the Wild). AC -1, Max Dex +1, ACP -1, ASF -5%.
