    Alingment:CE Not really the stereo type, He is smart but dosn't know proper common, he only learnt enough common too intimidate his foes. He is constantly doing something gross, such as belching in public.
    Background:He was born from a rape, His mother didn't want him so she threw him out the nearest window, he fell in a basket of tomatoes that a theif was stealing, he was brought back too head quarters where he was turned into a weapon, after his 20th birthday, his gang was attacked by a rival mafia, the gang leader was killed, and he ended up with a scar on his upper back, shaped like the word freak, he took the throne as leader of the gang, and has gone too the town too further his exploits.
    Notes:he is creating something with dark magic too further his exploits.
    Npcs:he walks around with a gnome cleric/wizard and a half orc fighter/barbarian.

    Class Information:
    Technically, everything Mauril does is a form of Transmutation. Scholomancers are Masters of Entropy. Summoning stuff is basically controlling quantum entropy to phase an entire creature at once rather than only a few random particles. His Evocation spells are done similarly, but with energy rather than matter. His Anti-Matter blast is the reverse of a summoning, and his anti-magic blast basically creates anti-entropy and the organization cancels out the disorganization of assembling magic energies. He can also heal by a similar method.

    She started as a human. She was poor and lived in a run down shack. One day a man kidnaped her family and started killing them. When it was her turn she knoked over a table and poured a chemical on herself. It changed her into a half cat. Laughing the man decided to let her wander about in her half cat body as a misfit. SHe has now vowed to track and kill that man.

    Weapons: Mindblade (spiked chain and bastard swords), also carries a special spiked chain he's named "Demon Bane" (it is also an artifact of unknown origin), only uses it during emergencies or if he's in dire need of amusement

    Backstory: Previously a young human thief who used shadow magic to bypass securities. He tried to steal from a prominant shadowcaster to test his skills and failed utterly. He was cursed with the form of a drow as punishment. Since that time Rizzen has floated in and out of various cities and towns making brief appearances and acting in the shadows, ever the manipulator. He seeks a cure from his curse so that he may take his revenge properly. This time has far passed and Rizzen is free from the shapechanging, though Katalia may still be a threat.

    Common Knowledge: Shifted over to the nice guy side after his evil half quiet literally ripped itself from his body, taking his shadow casting abilities with it. Married to ValKey.

    Backstory:
    He was merely a shade, living a dismal life on the Shadow Plane up until the point where Katalia wrenched him out for an experiment. This experiment involved becoming rather connected to a certain boy's soul. This boy, obviously Rizzen, was granted power over shadows, but at the cost of his old life, instead becoming the cruel, hateful person that he was when he first entered Town. sRizzen slowly incorporated himself further into the soul, gaining more power over the body as he went. At one point, Rizzen was kidnapped (again) and due to whatever happened during this time, sRizzen was slowly rejected from his body. After sRizzen was expelled, he has wandered Town as his own entity once more, though he looks different and has stolen Rizzen's shadowcasting abilities.

    Common Knowledge:
    Looks almost exactly like Rizzen, except for the obvious color scheme difference and the tendrils. Generally not a nice guy and tends to enjoy murder and pain a bit too much. He doesn't like Maph'tey due to attempts to block him from Trog's via lights. He has yet to be convicted of actual murder, merely other minor charges.

    Notes:
    Thinks himself rather clever, though he may not always be. Not to say he doesn't occasionally make blatantly stupid mistakes...
    At times his tendrils seem to almost have a mind of their own, so not all effects on sRizzen are likely to stop the tendrils at the same time.

    Dvati twins hailing from a small monastary in the town Quarvarr. They left the monastary particularly due to a strong distaste for the constricting rules, but mostly out of severe wanderlust. They have wandered the lands looking for adventure and typically not staying anywhere for more than a month.

    Common Knowledge: They love to finish each other's sentences, delighting in the looks of awe that it strikes in most ordinary people. They tend to get in trouble with the law, as they find most laws restricting and they occasionaly go out of their way to break a few in order to make a point. They are rather charitable if they can get a good adventure out of the deal. No one is sure why they are residing in Town.

    Notes: Typically cheerful and social, they only get angry when they feel they are being restricted or if a friend/twin is in danger.

    Backstory:
    All that is currently known is that he formed when a small black blob had an attempt on its life. Xeni has since gone here and there in Town.

    Common Knowledge: An accomplished archer with good intent most of the time. Has a bow that bestows random elemental properties upon his arrows as he sees fit. He is raising the young silver dragon, Karaglen. He was killed at one point, but appears to have returned to Town.

    Notes: Truespeech seems like a native tongue to him, so he is consequently enabled to do seemingly impossible things with it. As is such, the universe is similar to clay in his hands, but he's careful to not fiddle with it too much.

    Current Plots:
    Pursued by demons for apparently destroying a layer of the Abyss

    Backstory:
    Yurioc was a typical mouse living in the Omnishop. He spent his time eating grain and wandering the shelves. On one particular wandering, he slipped off a shelf and fell into a vial below. The vial's contained concoction endowed Yurioc with sentience and large intelligence. Using his newfound intellect, Yurioc spent much of his later time reading various manuals and investigating technoligcal devices. After some time he constructed his own computer and joined the shop's employees.

    Common Knowledge:
    He lives and works at the Omnishop. He is incredibly intelligent and is capable of constucting mostly non-existant technologies.

    Yurioc speaks in this color.

    Alignment/Temperament: Neutral Evil. Usually does things to get more power, and sometimes tortures helpless people for fun. (This will be explained on the backstory.) Other than that, he's usually sarcastic, friendly, even to possible victims, and only serious in the face of good entities.

    Eyes: Forebodingly blood-red when battling, otherwise dark gold

    A long, ragged, blue-hued dark silvery overcloak, which has a hood.


    Backstory:
    When human, Harakir fought bravely in many battlefields, not restricted to one single plane. He even managed to fight in Baator and Limbo, slaying hundreds of demons in each of these incursions. But Harakir realized that wasn't as satisfying as it should be. In a somewhat small skirmish in the material plane, he fled battle, with confusion in his head. He was slowly becoming insane. For weeks he wandered his homeland, seemingly lost, until finally he did the dark act. He summoned the Archdevil Thsarendlor, and made a pact with him. "If my mind I control, my soul is yours". The devil promptly imbued him with dark energies, and ripped his soul off, causing a pain bigger than any paladin ever felt. When he woke up, he was at the feet of the devil, who said: "Rise, as a Death Knight". And so did he. His holy artifacts transformed into pieces of vile energy, as his loyal warhorse turned into a frightening Nightmare. Also, there was a demonic bat in his gear when he woke up, the animal who would become his second most loyal friend. In the present day, he roams the planes, destroying good entities for power and freedom. The lawful tribute he was obliged to pay as a paladin, he now taxes from the helpless.

    Common Knowledge:
    He is new in the Town, and he's here primarily because an Avoral Guardinal was rumored to wander the place. Despite his old age, he is quite attractive, so he is becoming quickly popular.

    Race: Shadow Elf (like "fiendish" only the plane of shadow as opposed to an outer plane)
    Class: Rogue 7/Ranger 1/Dungeon Delver 10
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Age: Quite old. Outsiders don't really age after maturity, and Zanas has been traveling for a while.
    Appearance: Indistinct. It is actually a chore for Zanas to not blend into the shadows. It is quite easy for her to become effectively invisible, but otherwise she remains as something of a ghostly shadow.
    She is of average height, some five and a half feet, and is quite light.
    Even when she is in full, bright daylight, the entirety of her body, hair, and possessions are completely black, and tend to blend into each other. Objects she holds gain this quality after a week of being possessed, and retain this darkness for at least a few hours after being left.

    Zanas possesses a dagger, a silver longsword that she keeps as a reminder of her earlier days, and a hand crossbow, along with a multitude of poisons.

    She also possesses a set of thieves tools with a wide variety of magical enhancements.

    Backstory:
    Zanas originally came from the area of the plane of shadow corresponding with Faerun and the Forgotten Realms.
    This part of the shadow is known as a rather scary place, nearly overrun with illithids.
    She left her home, and eventually wandered into Toril, ending up somewhere in the Dalelands.
    After getting over the severe shift from the plane of shadow to the material plane, she made her way to a wizard that had contacted her a while before. This was a red wizard, but she luckily found him and befriended him outside of that area, finding him at Raven's Bluff.
    For a short time she adventured with the wizard and some others, eventually getting to Myth Draenor. There, her party was found by an angel, who promptly charmed the party. For Zanas, this was intensely not good... for shadow creatures, angels are similar to what devils and demons are for material plane creatures.
    In a short lapse of this hold, she escaped, fleeing to the Dalelands through the great forest.
    For a while, she wandered around.
    First, she was caught by Red Wizard slavers, and spent some time as a novelty and a more skillful slave, dealing with traps, one of the few things magic cannot easily overcome.
    She eventually escaped, and after quite a while was caught by an efreet. Ironically, she was taken to the plane of fire, perhaps the most inhospitable place for a shadow creature.
    After a bit longer, she was bought by a visitor, taken to the material plane (again), and used to help get through a tomb.
    Once that was done, she was freed, and wandered some more.
    She returned to the shadow plane, and spent even longer exploring the idea of passing to alternate primes by simple travel, visiting a host of random locales.
    Then some more wandering.
    And some more.
    Eventually, Zanas realized she wasn't getting any older, and that if she remained good at not getting killed she'd likely be able to keep this up indefinitely. At that point, she began to be a bit more cautious, but has generally come to take a very long-term view of things.

    On account of repeated experiences being a slave, Zanas has become quite paranoid about servitude of any kind.


    Common Knowledge: She's a shadow thing.
    She looks like a drow, but she firmly denies being one.
    She's quite good at getting through traps and locks, and the only thing stopping her from robbing most people is a lack of interest and a lack of need.
    However, she does advertise, somewhat actively, her services at getting through heavily-trapped places, such as cursed catacombs or terrible tombs.

    Notes: Shadow creatures have concealment in any conditions besides the brightest.
    Also, they have some other things, such as cold resistance, and some other random things.
    Zanas, for example, has regeneration, with a weakness to fire.

    Ongoing Storylines: None?
    She's sort of seen a lot, so at the moment her top priority is "not dying."

    Rosan's life story is an interesting one. She began life as the child of a prostitute whose contraceive spell failed and grew up on the streets, helping her mother through pick-pocketing, begging, even the occasional robbery. Then one day Fortuna granted her spells on a whim, and Rosan found a new purpose in life. Eventually, she received divine urging and took up a life of adventuring, joining the group known as Fortuna's Hands. When she retired from adventuring, she opened up a brothel in Enkidu City. This brothel is connected to Town by a portal.

    She is kind and compassionate towards almost everyone, but she isn't one to form lasting intimate relationships. She has friends in plenty and takes lovers on a whim, but if one of her lovers complains about the fact that she'll happily sleep with anyone who pays enough, he'll find that money will be the only way he'll ever be returning to her bed.

    Allignment: Chaotic Good. He still has a somewhat uncontrollable wild streak. Changed due to new friends!

    Weapons: Mindblade (Giant Axe) Also carries 4 Kamas with him that can be used at any time but usually when Mindblades aren't working properly

    Background: Orphaned at 2, he was found in a ditch by four great evil Soulknives. The Soulknives took him in and raised him as their own and tought him the ways of a Soulknife until he was able to live on his own. He wishes to repay the favor by becoming one of the greatest Soulknives who ever lived. Ishmale made a pact with the devil at the age of 17 to become a Kama master, so his kamas are connected with parts of his soul and can't be broken. He can carry two two-handed Giant Axe Mindblades or all 4 of his Kamas. Because the Kamas are connected by parts of his soul, he can connect all 4 if need-be.

    Notes: Ishmales kamas can become elemental (including lightning) as part of the aforementioned pact. If they are elemental, they will do extra damage and fairly occasionly encase the attacked in the element being used at the time. Also due to the aforementioned pact Ishmale can never lose his kamas. They will appear in his hand after hitting/missing an enemy or if dropped and then can be stored or used again. The pact also has one other important agreement that Ishmale must fulfill or lose his soul. ((This will be revealed in time))
    Acquired abilities to control/be immune to/spawn fire and electricity. Acquired super speed.

    Background: Conrad was born into a wealthy family. His family had connections with the authorities, which is how his father came to mayorhood. At the age of 4 Conrad's parents had a son, who was named Ishmale. When Conrad just turned 6, Ishmale was kidnapped by four soulknives and taken far away. Conrad's parents were assassinated for 'unjust leadership' when he was 20 and he's spent the last few years as mayor of City. Conrad's position has become overbearing so he left his position in order to search for his long-lost brother.

    Common Knowledge: Nothing special. Just rich.

    Notes: He can spawn objects at will. Very useful.

    Background: Akil was born into a litter of 5, but was left to fend for himself because his mom was cruel. He wandered away from his pack one day after he and his uncle (who took care of him since the mother left) had a fight about who the next alpha male would be. After a few days alone, starving and barely alive, someone found him and nursed him back to health. The healer had wolf allergies and couldn't keep Akil so Akil was put up for adoption at the OmniShop. He lived there happily until Ishmale came along and adopted him. Now Akil and Ishmale lead an even happier life.

    Common Knowledge: He's all black with light blue eyes. He has also been awakened. No one knows how or why.

    Notes: Ishmale's 'pet'. Akil doesn't like being referred to as a pet. Recently acquired ability to immitate voices.

    Background: Zeb lived in City all his life. He loved his life there until Ishmale's and Conrad's parents came to power. According to Zeb, they were unjust in their judgments because the mayor (the father) gave his father the death penalty for killing a man in revenge and he vowed to kill them one day. A few years later he met up with three other men who felt nearly the same way as him. They decided to kidnap the youngest son of the mayor, who happened to be Ishmale. Zeb wanted to kill him right away, but the others wouldn't let him, so they raised Ishmale as their own. Then one day Ishmale escaped, bringing it up to present day pretty much.

    Notes: Zeb recently had his memory wiped. He now only remembers his name and his abilities. Currently dead. Raised by Lelin

For the past two years she's been wandering and has now found herself in Town.

    Notes: She has two longswords sheathed on either hip and a bow and never-ending quiver of arrows that she picked up on her travels strapped to her back. She also always has a concealed dagger on each arm and two per leg. She is skilled with most weapons and is a quick learner so she can become skilled with a new weapon as well.

    Yo My character is named Tendai Lightspeak. He is a chaotic good asimar 20 lvl Brb 10 lvl Legendary Dreadnought. His village is under attack and he is in town to find a legendary strategist. You'll have to wait to find out who the strategist is i have h.p. of 370. I'm wise and very intelligent for a barbarian. I wield a katana that does 1d10 damge plus 1d10 lightning and fire damage, it's named sea spray. I wear splint mail that gives me a +6 bonus and i dont use magic.

    class features for a lvl 10 leagendary dreadnought:
    Unstopable 2/day-adds a plus when trying to break through walls and such (you become jugernaught from x-men)

    Backstory: Xylric is the son of an evil ruler of a far off land. Having been trained since infancy as his father's right hand, he was sent out to scout out and destroy rebel encampments with in the realm. He did so without mercy, having the men under his command kill every living thing in the camps.

    This changed when Xylric and his men assaulted one of the larger camps. Xylric was stopped by a young girl who had a strange power over him. He freaked, and ordered his men to retreat. His father tortured him for hours due to his failure, and sent him out again to finish the mission.

    He did so, only to find out upon his return that there never where rebel encampments. Xylric had just taken part in the genocide of an entire human nation. The young girl turned out to be his younger half-sister.

    Driven mad with fury, Xylric unleashed the very power of the hell upon his father, and only barely escaped with his life. Horribly disturbed by the sheer power he posesses, he seeks to rid himself of them, lest he lose his soul. As a result, Xylric has been searching for a way to cure himself of this curse. For his power has a great price - The more he uses it, the less his soul remains intact. The less he uses it, the faster his body deteriorates. His journey has lead him to this town. Maybe here he will find the answers he seeks...

    Common Knowledge: Don't trust this man. He has the blood of a hundred thousand on his head. He claims to have been an unwitting pawn in the schemes of his father, but there is no proof to support this.

    Notes: The "original" Xylric, developed as a major character in my in-development Legendarium, is actually a human/dragon hybrid where the breed of dragon is the direct opposite of humanity. This is the origin of the "curse" I mentioned, adapted for use here. The two bloodlines constantly fight for supremacy, slowly killing the character.

    Ongoing Storyline:

    Xylric is currently trying to establish a new identity for himself, but the lack of trust people have for him because of the things he's done makes that virtually impossible.
    Oddity is my highest commodity.

    Snoozle usually lives underground in his fortress not to far west of the town. The entrance is guarded by a variety of illusions, and a steel bolted door. Upon a hill, it lies dormant, worded against scrying, teleportation, and other various things. While the fortress is well guarded, it's not necisarrily large. Snoozle has a bed room, a guest room, a kitchen, cellar, parlor, a lavatory, and a laboratory. Snoozle's store room is a quite large extradimensional space.
    Snoozle usually spends half the day sleeping undeground. The other half is spent in the tavern's and gossip areas of the town. Every two days Snoozle skips his usual run into the town for the day, where he spends his time in a laboratory in his stronghold. He there makes different things, and different things explode for the day.
    Snoozle has been known to adventure, but only for a good profit. Snoozle's "Best Friend" is a teddy bear he calls "Mr. Fluff N' Stuff".

    Backstory
    Not much is known about snoozle. He's been around for a century now...
    He left his gnome homelands becuase he felt they were too noisy, andthey were disrupting his 12 hour sleeping periods.

    Ongoing Storyline
    None:
    Snoozle is currently looking for work, an adventure, or other form of job. He's low on money, and needs to resupply his extradimensional supply cabinet.

    "Mr. Fluff N' Stuff" is not what he appears. He is in fact, Lord Grogar: Evil Teddybear Mastermind. Most people know this and try to steer clear of his path! Snoozle is completley oblivious to the Secret passages, dungeons, and evil plots going on below his fortress. Since it is protected against scrying and teleportation, nobody knows what foul creatures and horrible things lurk beneath snoozle's cellar. It is rummored that Lorg Grogar is building an army of construct, turning them against thier masters, and to his will.
    Backstory
    Lord Grogar was origonally created as an animated toy for a wizard's daughter. After a few days of calm, the Wizard found her daughter daughter strangled by the hair of her dolls. He was horrified to find grogar did this, but the chock was brief; He soon found a knife in his throat a few minutes later. Grogar studied for centuries in the wizard's stufy, untill he masterd everthing he could. He sought more powerful magic...more evil magic! He killed another great wizard for his dark spells, and finally decided to station his base of operation (for world domination) to lie under snoozle's fortress.
    Ongoing Storyline
    None:
    Lorg Grogar has no ongoing storyline. For thoes evil enough he does give others a story line of moving through his dungeon...but this knowledge is going to be hard to find in a regualar tavern. Try Trog's at around 2:34 a.m.

    Lord Grogar is rumored to have a plot to overthrow the town's government with the help of others in the town that are evil. Of course...rumors are just made up gossip, right?

    Voice: Alto, with an unusual lilting accent. She used to say her S's a little too much like Sh's, and she still can't say Th's very well, but she's learning.
    Personality: Very reserved, but friendly enough. She is shy around men and more than a little uncomfortable around non-humans. She can be entirely too formal in some situations, and blunt in some, and frustratingly indirect in others.

    Background: Kymei Zetalyos is a traveling scholar, funded by her university to study other lands. After learning the language from scratch in a matter of months, she has a developed keen interest in the gods and magics of the Town. Although Kymei doesn't make a lot about herself public, it is known that she's a good rider. She is not the aggressive type, unless you get her talking about the nonscientific method or applied theology. And please, for the love of gods, do not ask her anything related to linguistics. She will not stop. She is admittedly somewhat useless in non-academic battle, as her magic is mostly research-oriented (her Automate Library spell is her closely guarded secret) but she will gladly follow to watch local magic techniques and doesn't get in the way. She has, in the past, learned a few cantrips easily. However, she doesn't trust herself with anything bigger than a kitchen knife and avoids touching swords with an insistence bordering on superstition.

    Notes: Fanatically passionate about peaches and oranges.
    She is rumored to be engaged or betrothed back home, but she doesn't talk about it herself.
    She occasionally says things she regrets about people sufficiently different from herself. It's not that she doesn't like other races, species, and cultures, it's just that she's from a more insulated society and she's still experiencing a good deal of culture shock.

    Eyes: They all glow a certain color, depending on what type of Forsaken they are.
    Height: Varies from 6'0 to 9'0. Depends on type.
    Voice: Mechanicle, almost, with a different tone depending on type.
    Personality: DEATH MURDER KILL!
    Background: Thousands of years ago, the Forsaken were created by a species that has been lost to time. They ate the life-force of their creators, through the use of special weapons. They require life-force to sustain themselves. The more one eats, the more quickly one reassembles upon being destroyed, and the quicker they are on their feet, and to fire their weapons. The more they eat, the more accurate they are, as well. They can abandon their bodies, and go back underground to get a new body, and then return to the surface to continue fighting. They can reassemble after being blown apart, and can teleport from location to location. They cannot be stopped. They cannot be defeated. To fight the Forsaken is to fight death itself. The types of Forsaken are as follows: Dark Ones are assassins and spies, useful for targeting certain leaders, and can cloak and shapeshift, and even alter their voices. The Warriors are simple footsoldiers. The Gliders are Forsaken air forces, often used for recon and air attack. The Tankers are the vehicles. Very durable, Tankers come in three sub-types: Tank, Hoverbike, and Artillery. Hoverbikes are used for fast attack on the ground, and tanks are used to break through enemy lines. The artillery is stationary, used for fire-support where neccessary. Finally, there's the Commander. He's nothing more than a heavily-modified warrior with bigger guns, and more durable armor.
    Notes: A certain artifact in an ancient ruin was found by a Tau known as Nukular. The Forsaken didn't wake up until it was moved from that ruin. As such, it is clearly connected somehow.

    Equipment: Wears black plate mail and a crimson great helm that resembles this one. A large two-handed sword is strapped to his back. Has a ring that averts bullets, and a bolter.

    [Story]

    Nathaniel was a ruler, back in his home plane. He was the leader of the country of Anglarctur, having seized control from an insane, senile king in a revolution. He was adored by his people and held total control over the country. Still, Nathaniel is an ambitious man, and that was not enough power for him. After setting out a propaganda campaign that stated that Anglarcturians were the rightful inheritors of the world, he began to invade other countries.

    Early on, he won many victories. One by one, he crushed small countries and large ones, assimilating them into the Anglarcturian Empire. However, the other nations of the world eventually came to realize the threat he posed. They banded together to fight him. This was still not enough to stop Nathaniel's march to power, however.

    That all changed when Nathaniel's second in command was bribed and secretly turned traitor. He knew all of Nathaniel's strategies, troop movements, and even the way he thought. Even this was not enough to stop the implacable march of Anglarcturian dominance. But the traitor showed them a secret way to get past miles of Anglarcturian Empire without fighting and strike directly at the capital. As the armies laid siege to the capital, Castle Coffyn, the traitor made his move. He and a band of his fellow traitors attacked Nathaniel in his room. With some difficulty, he managed to defeat them.

    As he was recovering, Nathaniel was suddenly teleported to The Town. Now he wanders the area, trying to figure out how he got here.

    Background:Suryc has been a pupil of the ninja academy since not long after birth, and while not amazingly good, is better than the average pupil. Not long after he graduated, he started to run with a notorious gang, known as RCKT. He soon rose to one of the bosses liutenants, and did pretty well until a group of adventurers destroyed the gang. He managed to convince the adventurers to let him work with them. They had many adventures, but he eventually decided to return to the academy to learn more of the way of the ninja. However, learning more of theway of the ninja turned out to be kinda boring, so after hearing of the Town through his studies, thought it would be a blast to go there. So he did.

    [Stats and Description]
    Um Stats. Yeah. He's a rather odd creature, full shape shifting capability (can turn into just about any form with a few rules like: no more then 24 prehensile limbs, no more then 100 limbs, no more then 2000 tons, and no larger then a hundred feet diameter) with the exception that all of his other forms are made of metal. He has a rebirth ability that allows him to be reborn (at whatever age interval he likes) instantaneously, creating a new flesh form. But this is rather draining, and he only does it occasionally, generally whenever he reaches a new location.

    He also has an absurd amount of mechanical skill, and some very useful, rare magical items (utility belt style. But nothing that effects anyone else magically). He is unable to effect others magically.

    [Backstory]
    Machine is very old, perhaps several hundred thousand years old, although the date of his birth may be very far in the future, or very far in the past, as he doesn't really know. He does know he was born to an elf mother and a gnome father, and that he inherited his absolute obsession with machines from both of his parents. He knows he was well fed and raised until he was 90, when he left home. He knows he met numerous magical creatures and somehow came to his magical powers and limitations. He knows he gained his gauntlet as a gift from a god of time for saving his world. After that, he is rather immortal, and has forgotten most specific details.

    He also knows he has children. Probably more then two dozen. And so he is dedicated to not having more (he's forgotten their names you see and refuses to have more until he can remember all the names). Beyond that, his history is very long, and very boring.

    Backstory: Cyrus trained as a barbarian for many years but was sent to the eastern lands when orcs invaded his homeland. He is skilled in the martial art "Five Ancestors" and was a great general in the imperial guard for a time but left his position 20 years ago and started to travel the world.

    [Stats and Description]
    Small, frail man of pale looks and almond eyes, brown hair with a little ponytail. Dresses stylish but slight worn clothes, mostly on dark tones. Always seen with his notebook (“prayerbook”) and his noir sword, Instinct. He appears on his twenties but talks little of his actual age.

    For those more DnD bent, consider him a short of “archivist” with a knack for summoning. Med-levels, balanced attributes (Con = Dump Stat, Int & Cha = Higher points) and LG alignment.

    [Backstory]
    Raised by monks, T. was trained for a religious life. But he found little faith on gods and run away, using his knowledge to learn and develop philosophy. Despise his lack of faith, he was a “miracle worker”, capable of healing and smiting worthy of high priests.
    For some reason he was exiled. Since then, he wanders trough the planes, searching for acceptance.

It also probably doesn't help improve him because generally people don't tell you that you're offending them if you have a mouth like a meat grinder and a voice as cold as a blizzard. Will sometimes baby-talk his Paladin Mount, an overgrown crocodile named "JJ (Short for 'Judge and Jury.' Namesake himself is the 'Executioner')." It is quite disturbing to watch him do this.

His jaw is partially unnatached, and every other sentence he has to pause to let it set itself back in place.
    Equipment: Mithril Chainmail, and an unworked Holy Greatclub which will be used until it snaps, upon which another club will be consecrated. Enchanted Hood; it completely blacks out his face when in human society. (Hood is currently burned to a crisp and not functional)

    [Description]
    The man who passes by is slightly disproportionate, as though he were missing some parts of his body. He is covered head to toe in religious garb, with a tabard on his chest, velvet gloves, cast-iron boots, underlying chainmail, and an ominous curved hood. He carries a stick that seems much too big for him, but more disturbing is the fact that he carries it in a manner that would suggest he cannot feel the pain and stress that it causes to his muscles. The only bit of skin you can see through his vestments is gruesome enough that you would rather not see the rest: his jaw has been utterly skinned, leaving a bare rictus of menacing teeth and red muscle. His mouth twitches slightly as he glances (or at least you think he glances) at you. He is followed by a massive blue-tinted crocodile, which seems wary of all that is around it in the same way that he seems detached.


    [Backstory]
    Namesake supposes that he was once a Paladin. In much the same way that he supposes he was once human, and that he once could remember better. Humans aren’t built to exist for more than a century, so he has to suppose things instead of remembering them. Not that there’s much to remember in this accursed world. Among the rare things that Namesake remembers there is nothing pleasant. There was his body before and now, and his mind; every vestigial, useless organ of his frame a reminder of his former glory. He remembers his anger at how he would be cheated out of a true knight’s death, and he remembers the lengths that he went to in order to return himself to death. Although he fights the fiends, and fights the vile bandits, he has always had a penchant for the Necromancers. They are his…special interest. Namesake has an alter ego/body double named Clergyman State. State is a blackguard who is effectively what would happen if Namesake's xenophobic views and homicidal urges went unchecked.

    [Common Knowledge]
    -Namesake should be called Humors' sake. He doesn't have any.
    -Namesake is in the Town due to an Inquisition. He has come to confront the “deplorable wretches who might so find shelter in this place.” Not really a get-along type.
    -Creepy guy, although not immediately seen as undead. If questioned repeatedly he will pass off his appearance as a deformed man or a leper.
    -Is accompanied by a hideous crocodile and, some say, a small, black rabbit.
    -Namesake was “born” in an obscure offshoot of the negative energy plane. He left there long ago and does not talk about his experiences there.

    The man before you marches by in a very stately, if a bit evil-looking, manner. He wears an officer's cap, spiked as in the military of old. His head is wrapped save a pure gold mask that covers his forehead, cheeks, and nose, a hideous, undead lower jaw, and sunken, empty eyes. He wears a clergyman's collar with military epaulets, fully armored arms, red pantaloons, and iron-tipped military boots. Most noticeable is his coat, a double-breasted affair which stretches down to form a medieval tabard in the front and two coattails in the back. He carries the image of a scale on his chest and his helm.

    District is the unholy love-child of a night of drinking for Tom (The Geomancer) and Clergyman State's magical attempt to communicate with him, basically to order him around. District is a malleable, four-inch tall (although his height varies) State, with a head that takes up about a third of his body. He tap dances every waking moment without end, and flashes in and out of reality regularly, usually only visible to the inebriated. He has a magical ability to change his wardrobe, which is mostly fluff until we get to the hats. He can generate hats (all sized for him) at will, and they are quite corporeal. He will often nag K.N.A.V.E.S members by tossing his adorable headgear at them. His favorite projectile to date is the sombrero, of which he has many nonfatal but annoying variations. He speaks in the same wording as State, but sounds like a chipmunk.

    Revenant is the ideal bodyguard. Or was, before he betrayed Clergyman State. The Angel of the Scale is not an angel at all, but an undead creature made out of Maph'tey's corpse, left over from the April Fools' Day Bombing. Revenant broke off from State with a shock, fighting his living self and two KNAVES operatives after greivously wounding his creator. Revenant was at a loss as to how he should act, as his personality was caught between State's evil and Maph'tey's good. Although the posessing force, the Angel, took control for a short while, Irisa de Ricciolino and Namesake came to save the day. He left his father in jail, but he and Irisa have since become romantically involved. Not that he'd admit that.

    MALLEO THE MAD

    Temperament: Malleo cares for no one but his experiments. He is ecstatic when he meets you only because he's imagining how you'd react to a blast of knockout gas in the face. He's optimistic, clownish, and very, very, very annoying.

    Hair Color: Bright flourescent neon pink.
    Eye Color: Pink as well, but no one ever sees through the goggles.

    FROM KNAVES:

    A young man dressed in a labcoat [<---pic] stands at the gate. One of his arms is that of a construct, and appears to have a revolving barrel built into it. Inside the revolving barrel, as well as various places all around his person, are test tubes and vials of a strong-looking crystal, filled with odd liquids of every color imaginable. One cannot help but notice that the test tubes have been made, more or less, into the shapes of bullets.

    The goggled man grins as the gate begins to churn open, revealing that all but his canines and incisors are artificial, hollow and filled with various liquids. He looks to be in his mid 20's, eager and quite sinister looking despite a head of spiky pink hair, streaked with black (the effect of one botched experiment).

    Name: Deckard Dark and Dexter Darkling
    Race: Human and adorable cloth doll.
    Class: Scout/Fighter/Tempest and Ragamoffyn/Spellthief
    Alignment: True Neutral and Chaotic Neutral
    Temperament: Deckard is blunt. Very blunt. He says what has to be said, and not much else, even though he has a penchant for small talk. The best way to describe him is that he likes to talk, but he just isn't a very remarkable speaker. Dexter, meanwhile, loves to yell and rant, and is quite articulate despite his childlike manner of speaking. He can be quite crude and annoying sometimes, but his cuteness makes up for it.

    Weight: 162 lbs and 5 lbs.
    Hair Color: Greenish Yellow mohawk, combed over onto the side of his head. Dexter has modeled his fake, string hair in a similar style.

    Talks: Deckard is always a tiny bit muffled beneath his scarf, but still easily understandable. He has a rather nondescript voice, the only interesting feature being that no matter what his emotion, he tends to keep a monotone. Dexter's voice is high and screeching, and he giggles a lot in a wicked-witch manner.
    Equipment: Two huge butcher knives, and a series of blades concealed all over his body. Dexter has adorable little daggers that look like Deckard's cleavers, but his main weapon is his magic, which is drawn from some unknown source within Deckard.

    From "The Swamp:"

    A man [<---pic] steps through the brush, whipping two massive butcher's knives back into place, parallel down his back. He is skinny and lanky, and wears loose, dark robes and a flowing coat over what appears to be red-and-white striped stockings and a shirt colored likewise. He wears heavy leather boots and gloves, almost too big for him. He wears a heavy scarf that covers his face from the nose down, obscuring his mouth. He is bald save what appears to be a yellowish-greenish mohawk combed over to one side of his head. He wears earrings and his eyes are the most striking-his irises are yellow, in the midst of the rest of his eyes, which are black.

    A cute, button-eyed doll built in a likeness of him rides papoose-style on his back, holding on to his scarf for support.

    [Backstory]
    I'll put in more later, but here goes. Deckard was a fairly small-time mercenary, taking rather unprofitable and unremarkable jobs. His luck changed when he got the job to take on the evil archmage...changed for the worse, that is. He and his entire team were wiped out. His only remarkable achievement in life? He had been the last casualty. Dying, he was approached by a small magical construct that had sprung up in the wizard's lab. A free-floating wad of cloth, this being supposedly had the ability to bring him back...But he had to be partners with this creature, to help it escape in return. In other words, he signed over his soul. The creature wrapped itself around him and his body sprung back up, to strike down the mage when he least expected it. The strange cloth being stole a number of spellbook pages and other magical implements, and then commanded the mercenary: make me a body of my own. Complying to his new master's whims, Deckard sewed the cloth into a doll, one built in his likeness out of some ironic humor. The thing asked him for a name and, seeing the creature that had saved him like a brother or son, he named it "Dexter Darkling," or just "Dex." The creature now incorporates itself into Deckard's clothes, and uses him to channel its spell-grabbing ability. Although once he was afraid, Deckard and Dexter are friends despite the soul contract, and often bicker with each other in public to date.

    Temperament: Polite. He's struck by the Quatis family madness, and as such has developed a shock collar that keeps him in line whenever he isn't a pleasant, orderly man.

    Weight: 150 lbs. (He wears a metal breastplate all the time)
    Hair Color: Pale blonde.
    Eye Color: Yellow. Yes, yellow.
    Talks: Eccentric. He's very eager to show off his work in any situation. Unlike Malleo, however, he dislikes trying new things; it's always the shock therapy.
    Equipment: Lots of electrodes, his shock collar, prosthetic nose (he lost it when attempting to comfort an armed and insane man years ago), and metal cane.[Description]

    The man is blond-haired and pale-skinned, and fairly young. He has a thin face that carries a wide, smiling mouth, and the rest of his face is obscured by thick goggles and a metal nose (one can't be sure whether it is a prosthetic or simply a covering). He bears some similarity to the chemist Malleo the Mad...perhaps they are related. He is dressed in some manner of combination between a military coat, a labcoat, a simple suit, and even more simple commoner clothes, which ultimately means a large, button-up blue coat with patchwork yellow and blue pants below. His belt has an ornamental swirl in the center of the buckle, and looks rather thick. He wears white gloves and black boots, similar to a military medic's in style. He is average height, but a lanky physique causes him to look taller than he actually is.

    Most striking about him, however, are his neck and cane. He wears a thick breastplate over his coat that ends in a wide collar that somehow seems tight-fitting, studded with sparking electrodes. His neck is not visible; the contraption seems to envelop him from shoulders to chin. In a similar electric motif, his cane is made entirely of metal (save the rubber ends) and an open spot in the center reveals a buzzing current running down it.

    Description
    Shadow is the brother to Crystal, and often considered her opposite. He is often considered the perfect assassin, the unescapable hunter, and many other things. He always wears shadowy armor, and allows his medium-length hair to hide his eyes. He always has his two katana-like swords at his side. He has the innate ability to find anyone who he has labled as his target, and kills him or her quickly and efficiantly. His swords have the ability to transform into pure shadow, and reshape themselves easily while in this form.

    Background

    Crystal and Shadow were twins, born under an unknown mother and father. They spent much of their time as orphan-children wandering the streets of dank cities. For the longest time, a family bond connected them, all the way into their adventuring careers. Sometime after a large amount of adventures, they became bonded with two different gods. Crystal with Firas, the god of Fire and War (my avvy), and Shadow with Kiria, goddess of secrets and shadows. Exactly one year after that moment, they split up, to be enemies rather then siblings for the rest of their lives.

    Alignment: Neutral
    Temperament: Ba'el is usually withdrawn, but can become talkative when fire or magic is being discussed. Typically, he keeps interpersonal interaction to a minimum unless challenged directly.
    Age: 24
    Height: 5’10”
    Weight: 240 lbs
    Hair: Wild, black, and continuously on fire
    Eyes: Red
    Weapons: Ba'el prefers to use his mastery of the element of fire instead of mundane weapons, but will defend himself with his staff if need be.
    Description: Ba'el is about 5'10", and heavyset. His chainmail is burned and battered, and he carries a plain wooden staff. His skin, hair, and eyes all burn with pure elemental fire, and when he speaks, it sounds akin to a giant furnace.
