Yeah well Ana will lay down. You know as expected of her.
"It's really not as nice as everyone else here. You all have such nice long hair.... Uh thanks " Aww is she embarrassed being complimented. Yeah she is.

The spine realigning, isn't too bad. She's slept funny for years so it's out of wack a fair ways but at least she has good posture. She will probably notices that all her muscles are just a huge mess of knots. Lot of tension and stress it would seem. She also seems to have a couple pretty nasty scars on her back. One of them runs from shoulder down to where her ribs would end. The other is straight across her back.

"Looks like you've been through a lot," Ember comments, kneading some of the more knotted muscles like dough.

As he finishes, Atoya rolls over, as if expecting further massaging. Her eyes are still closed, and she just seems to be trying to enjoy herself.

Reinholdt stops.
"That's it." He whispers to Atoya who might be ready to fall asleep. He wouldn't blame her.

You ever tried to carry on a conversation where you couldn't look at the person you were talking too. It really sucked. She'd had to do it before to avoid being caught but she still hated it.

And now here she was. On her back unable to make eye contact with Ember, and conversation was being made. She was half tempted to just roll over so the conversation could actually be made without awkwardness. "Yeah, you could sa-" She squirms a little as she starts going at the knots of muscle. That really hurt... of course she knew it would. In the end it would feel better right. Her face screwed up a little as the knots are being broken out she forces out the conclusion to the sentence "-y so."

[V'icternus]

[Oak Tree]

She opens her eyes. "...Oh." Atoya says, blushing.
"Okay, thanks.
I'm, uh...
I'm going to go get dressed now."

She stands, heading off to the dressing room as fast as possible.

"What happened? Something like this definitely couldn't have been an accident!" Ember has a look of worry on her face, and use less pressure and slower movements to lower the pain.

(gotta deadtime for a few hours)

[Reinholdt]

"I think I will too. Been in this hot tub for too long."

Reinholdt goes to swim back to land and head for the changing rooms. Guess he didn't want a massage himself?

Atoya returns, fully dressed (again!) and feeling fairly good.

"Alright guys. I think I may want to go now...
Enough partying for one day, you know."

(I may or may not be here when you get back. But I'll see if I can be.)

Less pain was good. She supposed. Though it probably came at the expense of effectiveness in terms of the massage.

She can't see Embers face she she doesn't notice the look of worry but the tone of her voice sort of gives her the basic idea. "I,...... was too slow." The look on her face suggests that that might not be the whole story, as might the pain in her voice.

Her thoughts. Spoiler so not everyone has to read them. They aren't particularly pleasant.

She'd actually been caught. Those were all that was left of the torture inflicted upon her by the official before she'd escaped. Seems the guards had been clumsy. Forgot to turn on the power suppression collar. She'd used her powers to break his neck and escape. She was lucky. A few more days in the prison and she'd probably have been broken enough for the official to take his twisted desires out on before disposing her. Being that she was a non-person in their eyes.

She didn't really want to think about it. So she stuck with her answer.

[Coralies Cottage]

Uh..Curtain rises.

On what is probably now a less injured Eileen thanks to the salve that was applied to her. Very liberally.

Coralie is sitting against the couch now.

By now, Eileen has no doubt been very, very relaxed.
And she sits up, stretching carefully. A smile on her face under her, by now unbraided, blonde mop of hair.
"Gods, you were right, I didn't even know I had some of those muscles, no matter that they were tense. You're a lifesave, Cora." She smiles, having decided clearly to shorten her...friend's? Lover's? name.

[Cora's]

No doubt. Blame Cora's player. I know she does.

"It's just a matter of learning and then figuring out how to apply it all." She smiles at her friend. "Sorry to have distracted you so, I'm sure you came here for a particular reason. So why don't you tell me what you meant to do before I got a little carried away."

That really was the question. What were the pair of them? I'm sure the answers were to each person very different.

[Coralie's]



"Oh, I certainly don't mind one bit," Eileen says with a chuckle. "I don't think you ever need to apologise for distracting me. And...well, I came here in part just to see you. And also to bring you your Thanksmas gift." She motions to the box on the table.

'FwB' might be Eileen's assessment of the situation. For the moment anyway.

[Coralies]

Coralie grins at her. "That's good because it was a fun distraction." Aww, to see her. Coralie is looking actually really really happy at the moment. "So you came just too see me that's so sweet and you even brought a gift." She looks at the box curiously. Gifts usually came with strings. She had to wonder what strings were attached to this one

[Coralie's]

"It was."
Eileen giggles a little, and smiles, her expression completely at odds with her normal, hard (and sloshed) appearance. "I did, and I did. Go ahead, open it," she urges, looking ready to pick up the box and hand it to Coralie of the other woman doesn't grab it quickly enough.

[Coralies]

"Okay" She seems pretty excited by the whole things. As she grabs it pretty quickly. And gets a start on the wrapping paper. It's hard to do with just one hand. But she didn't really want to move her other arm. Which is obviously draped around Eileen.

She's acting different... more. Happy and friendly. Huh, humans were so hard to understand.

[Coralie's]

Eileen chuckles softly, leaning against Coralie, what with her arm draped around her, and obviously has one of her arms around Coralie as well.

When the box finally gets opened, revealed inside is a mortar and pestle. Made from solid turquoise, and enchanced to enhance the potency of any potion made using them.

[celtois]

[Coralies]
She just stares at the gift in wonder for a few moments before talking.... "Wow, it's so pretty." She will try and set it down on the table so she can give Eileen a hug, and chance are a kiss too.

Now of course.. Eileen would mention something that she wanted done, or something and the cycle would be complete, gift -> strings

[Coralie's]

"I was hoping you'd like it."
Eileen smiles, and is a bit surprised by the hug and kiss. But returns them, happily.
And it seems the kiss is just a kiss, or, rather, it's all she wants in return. Will Coralie's poor head asplode as a result of this?

[Coralies]

"It's lovely. So nice to look at." She of course has no idea about it's magical properties Probably not, but it is pretty confusing. After all a gift was what you give someone when your making up for something or want something.

Neither.. and that's just like the idea of friendship. It's been such a long time it's almost an alien concept to her.

"What the hell, Alex?" Ember lunges at Alex, gets about halfway to him, and then is knocked back by Ariel.
"Ember, no!"
Alex smiles at Rasslin.
"So you control shadows, then? I guess that'll make working on you a little bit harder. Eh, I have plenty of lights."
"Alex, what are you doing?"

Trust me when I say that I can find shadows anywhere.

Ivaz frowns a little at Atoya and Rein. Aw, really?

Hey...where'd shorty go?

[Coralie's]

"I think it's enchanted, too," Eileen suggests helpfully. "It should help with your herbal hobby," she adds, looking...content, perhaps. And happy.

While not a foreign concept, Eileen had essentially given up on friendship after her string of bad luck. So she's quietly grateful - and waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Oh look Ivaz got free of the deadtime. Don't make eye contact or she might decide to help Ember. And that would be bad. She's rather less restrained. If such a thing was even possible.

Ana is still in the midst of being massaged by Ember and telling the scar story.

The other shoe being that she is not human any more and is secretly a evil villain who experiments on people she kidnaps. Of course

"Enchanted!?" Huh. A rather scary little smile crosses Coralies face. "That's fantastic" Back to normal. Content and happy. That wasn't supposed to happen. BR your characters aren't supposed to be happy.

I think Ivaz is even less restrained than Dani is.


[Coralie's]

Indeed.

Eileen chuckles, somehow missing the smile. Probably because she's leaning over to give Coralie's cheek a kiss. "Happy Thanksmas," she whispers, smiling a bit more.

And true. At least, Eileen isn't. She's the Black Widow of the bunch, it seems, everybody she falls for permadeadtimes.

((And I need to get off my feet and sleep, so, continue tomorrow? ))

(Sure, might have to go Christmas Shopping though. So I won't be around all day.)

"You too." She'll whisper back. She's a little shocked by the whole thing. Thanksmas. Wasn't that the crazy holiday mortals... ah yes. Thus the gift. It was all coming together now. Maybe this didn't have strings attached. Which just made it that much more special.

Permadeadtiming might be better then turning out to be evil.

Huh. Well crap. Looks like she was noticed. Ana will smile and nod. The smile is a little forced being that the massage is painful. "Yeah." That seemed a fitting response. No reason for Ivaz to get involved if she was relaxing and having fun. Right? Except Ivaz's own enjoyment. But lets ignore that reason.
