"If by skilled you mean sadistic. Sure we'll go with that." Ana sounds angry, very angry. "Of course, just torture her, use her for pleasure then slit her throat. Bastards." She growls. "Pity I didn't get a chance to kill him." She remarks darkly.

Small talk? Heavens. How was that supposed to work? There was something she rarely had to do. It was usually just get victim. Start experiments. Well this was kind of awkward. "Yeah, it's going all right. The plants are growing. Should have another batch or salves and potions ready shortly."

Dani winces a bit, as she walks over to the edge of the pool. "Oh, no! I didn't know that...are you OK now?" she asks Ana, looking worried. And still in her T-shirt for the moment, probably mostly because Ivaz is at the moment deadtimed.

Maybe a little. It will make it hard to continue her experiments at the very least. She might have to delay them for months even.
Still it's not like she could just say no. You didn't say no to a friend like that did you? She wasn't really sure. Still better safe then sorry, "Oh yes, or course. My home is your home. You can stay as long as you'd like. Though as you already know there is only the one bed." She hoped she wouldn't stay at the cottage the entire time. Maybe go out from time to time. Give her a chance to do some experiments.

Yes, once she comes is out of the ooze. I'm sure Dani will start to loose clothes.

Ana looks up at Dani with eyes still full of anger. "Yeah, I'm fine. It was a long time ago. Not much you can do about the past or your family. Look lets just let it drop." ....Ember is still in theory deadtimed in the midst of massaging Ana.

"Well, I could always sleep on the couch..." she offers, half-jokingly, half-seductively.

Dani nods, and sits on the edge of the hottub, pulling the T-shirt up to slip her legs into the water. "OK...if you're sure. So. Looks like the massage therapy thing took off after I left? Oh, and Ory was, um, in a coma or something!"

"Your welcome to sleep anywhere that pleases you." Seems Coralie didn't get the joke. Comes from living in the past so much. decades of no real human interaction will do that to you.

Oh of course. It's a plus that the basements locks.

"You could say that." She was kind of pressured into it.

Actually the party has mostly wrapped up. Reinholdt and Atoya having both left. Ana actually doesn't have anywhere to go. So she's not exactly in a huge hurry to leave.

"Aww Fuc-" She stops her self abruptly and puts her hand to her mouth. She hadn't quite meant to get so vulgar about it all. All in all she looks quite embarrassed. It's pretty cute actually. "That idiot! Oh look at me I'm going to smash my head and nearly drown myself. Just so I can look cool. Then I'll end up a god damn coma for being such an idiot." Is that a tear running down Ana's face? .....awww.

"Well...if it pleases me...I think I'd prefer to stay in the bed, then, despite there being only one," Eileen says with a wink.

And then her stomach decides to break the moment by rumbling.

"Well then I'll see about making the bed for two." She pauses noticing the rumbling. Silly inhuman hearing. And not being emotional enough. xD "After we get you some breakfast."

Well Ana is at least wearing undergarments at least so it probably won't be that awkward. For Dani. It will result in lots of blushing on Ana's part.

"Yeah... doesn't change the fact that he's an idiot." She seems pretty annoyed at him. Though it's to a lesser extent then her earlier anger and Ivaz.

Somewhere, at night

It was the night of the Solstice, and a Lunar Eclipse, and Ashley sat on the hill far from the lights of the city and the dull glow of the valcano, with her telescope and sextant and compass and piles of notes.

She made notes to eliminate the MagSat and Lantern station from her calculations. At least she didn't think they were relevant. The writing on the moon she was less sure about. An increase in marriages? Whatever Magtok's ego, she didn't think he was the only one it was affecting.

The solstice, the turning of the year. Days would grow longer from here out, which was good for the city, with vampires being weakened by the empire and now by shorter nights. But then... the blood red moon. Perhaps that was a sign they had found a hidden source of strength.

The astrologer continued to make observations throughout the night.
