There is some meowing up in a tree.

A vague, stupid-looking girl is calling for her kitty.
"Missus Fuzzlebuttons! Are you up there?"

A man walks up, wearing a coat. The coat is incredibly coat like, albeit lacking sleeves.

The man pulls off his hood and loosens his facemask/scarf.

"Excuse me miss, is that your cat in the tree?"

If the woman isn't oblivious, she might notice an evil gleam in his eye.

And an eeeeevil grin.

His very presence exudes eeeeeeeevil.

[Tree]
She's oblivious alright.
"Uh-huh. And I can't get her out! Can you help me?"

His eyes widen, and he says merrily;

"Why of course! It's not trouble at all!"

Fwoom.

The tree is now on fire, and falls over, most likely setting the cat on fire.

[Tree]
As the girl screams, Not A Cat rolls out of the tree.
It's, well...

It's a figure in a hooded pleather cloak. Which is burning.
The figure begins rolling, putting the fires out.

"That's not my kitty! And you set the tree on fire!"

Metta looks pleased with himself.

"Technically I saved both the not-cat and the tree from not being on fire."

He grins and scratches his head.

"Really, you should be thanking me!"

"But WHERE'S MY KI---" PWANG. The figure, smoking slightly, has quickly stood and hauled a curtain rod from its cloak. And that rod made a lovely noise when it struck the girl's head.
OH, SO NOW YOU REALIZE I'M NOT YOUR [censored] KITTY?!

"Ow! Crap! Mister, make 'er stooooooooop!" The odious girl whines, covering her head.

Metta ponders the request.

He decides the best course of action to be an attempt at freezing the villager's head.

She won't feel any pain that way!

The figure pulls back her hood and... kitty!
Okay, kittylady, but yeah.
The one in the link farther up the page, with that ludicrous dull-rainbow hair.
She sighs.
This won't be as fun any more.
She kicks the girl's chest.
Mumble grumble thinks 'm her goddamn kitty 'n when she'd need to actually do something for me---like not let me burn to death---she realizes 'm not and meh bleh blern.

Oh, hey, you're still standing there.

Metta stares at the... catperson. That's an interesting term for it.

"Aren't you going to thank me?"

He raises an eyebrow impatiently.

... Um... thanks for... stuff?
And... shutting her up was pretty cool too.

He waves his hand.

"No, no, no. Not for that. For almost setting you on fire. I thought it would be obvious."

He glares at her, as if expecting he deserves an apology for her ridiculous misunderstanding.

One would think she would be happy that such an amazing Lich decided to burn her to cinders.

Dani undeadtims, yawns, and debates the party's closing and heading out and home to Sam. Of course, she'll still be around for a couple of hours, it would be wrong to depart without saying farewell to their host.

Metta nodded, assured that he was thanked for his kind act. Then he attempts to drag Ienza off.

"We're going into that forest."

When saying this, he makes a circular motion with his hand. Covering everything he sees.

She has nothing else to do. She follows.

"Alright I'll make sure to avoid the iron door tunnels. I have no desire to be another persons experiment." She shudders as if shaking off bad memories. "Well once again thank you Ember, would you like to show me to my (a) room?"

"Sure!" Ember grabs at Ana's hand.

Grabby Ember is successful at obtaining Ana's hand. She looks slightly puzzled by the whole arrangement but doesn't object. "Great thanks!"

Dani giggles and awwws a bit.
"Awww, that's sweet! It's good you won't be lonely, too!" she says with a broad smile.

Ember will lead Ana through a series of tunnels and caverns, pointing out where things such as kitchens and bathrooms and unused altars are before reaching another point in the complex where everything seems to be made out of bronze and precious metals. Plant life has worked its way in, and makes a wonderful carpet of glowing flowers in some places.
"There are unused bedrooms all around in here! Any preferences?"

Alex's brow furrows and he looks over at Ember, who shrugs.
"Just what are you playing at here?"
Those gems are looking awful pointy...

Meanwhile, Dani climbs out of the pool, stretches, then goes looking for her top, slipping it back on, then looking back at Ivaz with a wave.

"I should probably head home. See ya around, Evil Girl!"

She might shoot Dani a bit of a dirty look, being that she's confused why she is, laughing and awwing about the whole thing. But her response to the comment is anything but hostile "Yeah, it's really nice of her to let me stay here."

She looks around in wonder. This whole place was completely natural. A stark parallel to the cold metal and fabricated nature of the city she'd called home.
Just another way this world was so different from her own. It was wonderful. "Uh.. not really. Oh actually could I get one near yours so I at least know someone nearby." All this time as a vigilante and she jumping all over the chance for a few comforts. Namely someone nearby to act as a safety blanket.

Wait.. are those tears running down her cheeks?....

"Of course! I sleep right over th-What's the matter?" Ember quiets down and peers into Ana's eyes, her hand moving to wipe away the tears.

"Okay, one of the rooms right around here then." She's smiling up at Ember even as the tears roll down her cheeks. "Nothing... nothing at all. I, everyone is so nice and friendly here and it's all so different and amazing. I'm happy." She seems almost astonished by that last revaluation. Ember is successful of wiping the tears away though doing so, will certainly make Ana blush.

Dani, meanwhile, has happened to follow Ember and Ana to say goodbye for now, although she pauses outside the room.

Eavesdropping.

Ember smiles.
"Good, I was worried there for a second."
She'll try to lead Ana to a room across from hers that is about 10x20, has a tall, vaulted ceiling, engravings of the tree and crops on the walls, a stone altar that's been re-purposed into a bedside table, a stone slab with strange blue grass growing over it, and a crevice in the wall that a constant warm breeze flows in from.
"We can probably remove the slab and get a real bed in here, if you want."

"Don't be, this is the first time in years I've felt. This.. good." She's smiling lots now, as she looks around in wonder at the strange room. "Oh, no I'd hate to be a bother .... umm the grass is soft right?"
