"It wouldn't be a problem at all. Alex always seems to have ways to get money and Maya can move dirt and plants and stuff. The grass is comfy, though. I sleep on it. Smells...smooth," Ember leans down to take a whiff of the grass's smell. It's almost like lavender or good soap.

"Oh, yeah the grass will be just fine then." She'll smile. Still sort of in awe of the whole living within nature thing. That just didn't happen were she was from.... "It smells smooth?" She seems confused by that idea but will lean down to take a whiff of it as well. "Huh, it does!" She'll start to giggle. "I'm smelling grass, I'm actually smelling grass."

Ember giggles, nods, and trips over one of the little flower covered roots on the floor, landing on her bottom and giggling even more.

Dani, meanwhile, raps quietly on the door.

Ana still giggling from it all, just starts to giggle harder when Ember trips over the root.

She's still grinning openly as she goes to open the door.

Assuming Dani is actually on the other side of it. She'll be greeted by a grinning and laughing Ana who between laughs manages to say,
"Hiya Red!"

Laughter is the best medicine!
And greeted by a grinning and laughing Ana, Dani can't help but start giggling, herself.
"Hey, Ana! Hey, Ember! I was gonna head home and I thought I'd come and say goodbye first. And thanks for the party, it was great and fun and I love making new best friends!"

Ember laughs so hard she falls over onto her back. She looks up a Dani (if she's there) and waves.
"Wuzzup?"

Ember stands up and heads over to hug Dani.
"Well I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! Get home safe, alright?"

"See you Red. It's been nice meeting you. It was fun."
Oh yes indeed. Laughter is always a big help. Getting away from a brutal world helps too.

And with that she'll try and give Dani a big hug. Awww

Dani grins from ear to ear, and goes to hug both Ember and Ana back! Tightly - but 'properly', surprisingly enough perhaps.
"It was great meeting you too! And I'll come visit when I can, I promise!" she says, giggling happily.

"Good, because I plan on having everyone over for another party sometime soon! Aside from almost dying, this was the best night I've had in years!" Ember grins and pulls away from the hug to speak.

"Yeah, aside from that - but hey, you got better, and maybe I'll get Sammie to come over for the next party too! That would be awesome!"

Dani grins, then goes to give each of her friends one final hug, before stepping back.

Ana is hugged.

"I'll probably be there too. At the very least I'll try. Who know I might even still be there by then." She smiles "Yeah. Lets try and avoid the whole friends getting hurt part next time, and skip straight to the people having fun part."

Her mind seems to have glossed over the fact that she wasn't actually having fun most of the night.

Ember is also one last hugged.
"Yeah, the injury part sort of sucked and everything."

But she's having fun now! And that's what matters. Right?

"Really. But let's remember the fun and plan for more, alright?"
Dani smiles, and waves.
"Well, must dash. See you both soon!"

*pop!*

And she's gone.

She'll wave at Dani as she leaves. "See you again soon Red." Before laughing a little at the irony behind what Ember just said. "Yeah that ice was really evil. Literally!"

"Yeah. Thanks for helping me out with that, by the way," Ember shivers as she thinks of the pain the ice caused.

"Oh, no problem. I just did what I could. Though it would seem I wasn't that effective at doing so. I'm just glad other people got there to help you out." She smiles. She notices the shiver and can't help but ask. "Are you alright?"

She admittedly had a ton of questions for Ember about this world. But kind of remembered something about her being locked away. So she was sort of torn on asking them

And of course the most important question of all she wanted to ask she was scared would may Ember upset.... So she wasn't sure if she should ask that one either.

"It's alright. I'm alright. I'm just so mad at Kirk, and...for me, that hurts," Ember winces slightly when she admits the anger.

((ooooh! questions!))

(Uh huh. She came from a different world this whole place is weird and so she has lots of questions about it. Though since Ember has been sealed away for a long time she isn't the best person to answer them. )

[Oak]

"Don't worry, next time I see him I'll slap him for you." Ana will smile at Ember after all that was supposed to cheer her up.

Because the next question might do the opposite. "Umm, I actually had a question for you if you don't mind answering it. It's about..... uh love." She blushes slightly and starts to fiddle with the bottom of her shirt uncomfortably.

Ember chuckles weakly at the thought of Kirk getting slapped.
"Love?" Ember smiles and sits down on the bed-stone, "Ask away. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned I'm the goddess of said love."

Well it was an attempt. Not a great but. But at least it brought a laugh this next question was certainly not a good one. "Yeah so you've said..... I'm sorry for asking this. But what's the point in love if just gets you hurt every time?" Seems like someone has had a lot of bad luck. She's pretty down cast while asking the question

Lets see people she's loved

Sister: Given by family to the government and executed
Family: Gave her to the government to be tortured, raped and killed.
Friends: One of them died almost ever year thanks to the government, and she has to live in constant fear of the rest of them getting hurt or caught.


Everyone she's ever got close to has betrayed her or been yanked out of her life

"That's horrible!" Ember tries to hug Ana, "What would make you say something like that? What happened?"

Nah, just in a dystopic future where Psychics have been vilified by the government. And she is unfortunately one. As was her sister and her friends. Who are all Psychics or psychic supporters, and mostly revolutionaries trying to beat the government so. Constant threat to their lives.

Ana is hugged "Uh..I suppose so." She pauses not really wanting to talk about it. "It's just.. that anyone I've ever loved has... umm well most of them have died. Except my parents who. Tried to have me killed."

That's about the least painful way to explain the story.

She doesn't seem particularly eager to end the hug. For the moment taking comfort from being hugged.

Ember just squeezes Ana harder, but not enough to cause discomfort, "I'm so sorry."

"Uh huh." She's generally sad and small and a little pathetic at the moment. "So is there a point then to all of the pain? Please tell me there is a point to love. It's not all bad is it?" She'll hug back just as tightly.

"There's always a point to it. Just keep trying and eventually it will work out. It's like how your keys are in the last place you look. Just like funnel cake, if it's actually love, it's good," Ember softly makes some REALLY BAD metaphors and scratches Ana's back with one gentle hand.

"Like how seeing my sister always used to make me happy. Before.... before she was killed." Tears are running down her face now. Though she seems to take some comfort in the scratching "But... people. Bad stuff always happens to them."

"And we have no control over that. The brightest candles burn the fastest. Good things happen, too. They always do," Ember is doing her best to try and calm Ana down.

She's not doing too bad at calming her down.
She seems to be crying a little bit at least. "I guess. Just never seem to happen to me."

"They will eventually. Everyone has their day, right?" Ember starts humming a lullaby.
Wait, why is she humming good night demonslayer? As awesome a lullaby as that is, voltaire doesn't seem quite appropriate.
