She still hasn't even put on her ring, come to think of it. Grace fumbles in her jacket pocket for it, eventually pulling it out with rather shaky fingers.
"So uh, how do I use this, again? Willpower..."
She slips it on a bit reluctantly. Despite the power it offered her, she couldn't help but wish it were pink.

Hmm. He hadn't be noticed.

This was too easy. Like taking candy from a baby.

Xavier slowly raised the gun and steadied it, as he aimed it directly for Rae's head.

Another job, and it was almost complete.

And he'll pull the trigger. Propelling a ball of force at high speed towards Rae's head. Thank goodness his pistol was silenced. It hardly made any noise when the shot was fired, and at the distance he was there was a good chance they wouldn't notice the noise. Over the rest of what was going on.


He's firing to kill.

And at the back of the head.

@v.. sigh. look I know me trying to kill a character sucks. But that is just ridiculous.

Muffled sound.

Time it takes sound to carry.

Andy heads to Grace

"Please let me help him I have a few experienc in it. What the...."

In the moment of the shot Andys left hand aims for Rae, or more a bit behind him and shoots. The hand will fly hopfully save Rae.

When the ring activates Rae smiles and leans forward a little, his ring starting to patch him up. He hears a noise, but it doesn't bother him. Until he sees Andy's hand shoot out, that is, but at that point it's too late. The bullet most likely tears through the hand, and continues in it's path for Rae. A strap of blue, holding his hair back, strong as steel, but not meant to protect him. The bullet tears through that as well, and his hair flies free, the bullet entering his head, its course thrown off slightly, but still deadly in it's flight.

Oh bugger all.

Rae says, slumping forward. There is a sound of... Wrongness, and tearing. In front of Rae, a black line appears in the air, and it opens, creating a void. Nothingness, and then pulling. Rae's body is sucked through the void, and it closes.

On the hilltop behind Xavier, there is a scream, Rae's voice, and then a massive surge of power.

You Are Going To Regret That.

Xavier is now of course visible, his amulets charge having run out. "So people always tell me. But look I'm still here." He's got a wicked grin on his face, and is laughing even as he re holsters his pistol

Uh-
Grace barely manages to keep track of the events. Murder. Then... something happens to Rae's body. And then...
Rae showed up again? But maybe not?

Wow, now is a really terrible time not to have the strength to stand.

First things first- can't do anything if she's dead. Grace focuses hard on her ring, desperately trying to access the power in it despite never having used it before, and despite feeling really weak and out of it.
A bit of green flickers fitfully around her, but not much more than that.
Great. She's totally going to die.

Damon raises his head slightly to stare at Sarah, smiling as she yawns and stretches her wings. "An adventure I could've done without, Sarah dear. You have such beautiful wings, you know..." As she lays down beside him, he shifts over slightly so his head rests against her, then closes his eyes and falls asleep.

As Damon's eye flickers open he might able to see Sarah looking at him gently, walking back and fourth, acting kind of worried.

[Strange looking outpost]

In the middle of the jungles of outside trees for miles have been torn down to make place for a huge portal-like device that stands in the middle of it.

Around this device huge circles of runes have been drawn all around it, probably by the huge swarms of creatures that appears to have taken residence there.

Damon or someone else familiar with these creatures would know these to be demons. Right now groups of these demons are hoarding humans, along other sapien humanoid creatures that lives in the jungles of outside into the portal device. Once they reach it they just seem to disappear.

A green wall appears in front of her try to cage her.

"Whooo are you and what just happend?"

As this is said, a blue dome begins to close around the area, and a yellow glow appears around Crae, who is holding a longsword in each hand, his eyes glowing a deep blue.

Ever.

"Is that so? How tragic." Blue dome? Does it do anything? Example is it a cage of sorts? "Guess I'll just have to kill you then to get away." The grin has not faded from his face as he once again pulls out his pistol, in the other hand he'll pull out a dagger.

Grace concentrates as hard as she can, willing and begging something to happen-
A very thin, very feeble sphere of translucent green energy forms around her after a moment's hesitation. It'll probably collapse like paper if something tries to hit it. But hey, she did something.
Now, to focus on moving.
...maybe wiggling her big toe will help.

A small black puppy walks into the area.

It's a dome designed to keep people from coming in or out. Basically a cage, yes.

He says, taking a step forward, his longcoat buttoning itsef.

[LH] The Puppy looks at the dome and begins to walk around it, looking for a door.

Cages.. Those are awkward. If things get really sticky he might have to call back into Nightingale to teleport him out. Still he could kill this moron first then worry about the cage. "Now see. That would require you winning the fight, and I don't lose." He'll raise his pistol. Flicking the setting to semi-auto and fire three bullets of pure force at Crae.

Xavier is wearing. Well no armour. Actually he isn't even wearing a shirt. Just pants and shoes.

He's still grinning. Darn. He's like Jack that way.

Cause Rae makes it impossible to help or do something. Andy went to Grace.

"Bad moment I know, but better now than never. Start something easy Imagine a laser and shoot it at me. Don't hold back I can take it."

Andy creates a room of green energy around him and grace. And an other wall will appear, too. To protect Andy from the beam.

Says Crae, having flown off to the side as soon as Xavier had raised his gun. He then moves forward extremely quickly, slashing at Xavier's legs and stabbing at his stomach simultaneously.

Well, that's my One Idea used up.

Metta looks thoughtful for several seconds.

Unfortunately, during these seconds, that small fire becomes a large fire.

And then it explodes.

Metta grins.

"Ah, there we go. The sweet sound of homelessness makes music to my ears."

Fortunately, Metta's brilliant Plan, known as Operation: Destroy Forest With Fireball, stops burning after the forest is destroyed.

Hey, he doesn't want to burn the entire countryside. Just the annoying parts.

The Puppy attempts to dig under the dome.

What on earth does it take to get this guy active? An attempt to rip his heart out of his chest?
Grace gives Andy a bit of a glare.
"Don't mind me, HELP HIM!"
She points a shaky arm at Crae.

Margaret is alarmed by all the stuff, but hearing Grace spurs her to stand up and do something!
Her mechanical hand extends its talons, the middle-finger blade rather longer than the others; the talons are sheathed in Yellow energy.

And she has absolutely no idea what to do with it, seeing as there's that dome.

Ienza follows him rather quickly, not wanting to be there too long.

Crae is flying at him at high speed. As he does so Xavier whips his gun arm to meet him and fires not one but two force bullets in rapid succession.

Assuming that doesn't stop Crae at all.

He's going to get slashed. A parry with the dagger barely deflects the stab so it slices along his side. The slice at the legs however is more successful as it slices right through the skin. Leaving two long angry red lines where the flesh was but apart

But even now the wounds are starting to close up the flesh looks like it's knitting itself together. "Yowch. That hurt." Is Xavier laughing? Yeah he is. He's laughing like a mad man.

(Outright destroying Xavier in direct confrontation is nigh impossible it just lows him down. He however lacks magic so usually the best idea is to trap him somewhere and hope his allies never find him. But that's just OOC knowledge )

Andy is just a normal guy and since there isn't a hut Rae he just has no power to help him.

"Rae is to powerfull and if he makes things like this we have to wait until he ends it. Come on just this lesson so I know you could defende yourself. After that I try everything in my might."

Grace growls at Andy's continual persistence in not even trying.
"What kind of hero are you? Are you so insistent on giving up before you've even begun? If this is all you can do, then I'll manage without your teaching. What would someone like you know of determination and willpower?"
Grace slowly gets to her feet, one shaking hand pulling out her pen- er, trident. The gleaming weapon crackles menacingly in her hand, though its wielder is looking far less capable due to her current weakness.
She shakes her left arm a little to pull down the sleeve of her jacket, revealing the silver charm on her bracelet.

Metta leaves the forest, plotting something. It'll probably be dangerous, and end badly for everyone involved.

Since no one seems to be stopping The Puppy, he continues to dig until he is in the dome.

Xavier doesn't seem remotely phased by the whole keep shooting thing.
Heck what did he care he didn't consider a mad man with a big stick much of a threat.

And so he'll line up a nice short of force bullet right for the center of Crae's skull.

And yes he's still laughing. "Let me guess. Futile on your side as well."

(Going to have to deadtime now to eat supper.)

Crae says, Jumping at the last second, the bullet piercing just between his lungs and heart. He smiles. Once again, a sound of tearing happens, a void opening up just behind Xavier.

He tries to tackle Xavier into the void.
