The unicorn leans forward, using its front hooves to try and push the golem's arm down while slamming its horn into its chest.

The chalk line doesn't seem to get disrupted as much as it should be, even with the anti-magic. They only get blurred a little. Isaac finishes his chanting and takes another bag out of one of his cloak pockets. He throws it at the golems, spilling... hundreds grains of rice onto them.

...

The grains of rice morph into acid-spitting ants. Which quickly swarm the suits of armor and attempt to disintegrate and dismantle them.


The hellhounds are thrown back, but get right back up and charge again.

Isaac sits down in his pentacle, breathing heavily, and grabs a bottle of water from one of his pockets. Which he creates a tsunami with drinks. Summoning makes you thirsty!

Then he gets out a piece of chalk and reaches forward to fix the lines. Unless the ants do absolutely nothing to the golems, of course.

[ThirdEmperor]

Three bullets strike Ar, and for a second, nothing happens, they just pass through. Then Ar stares at the three holes in his chest, and at the three growing red stains on his clothing. He laughs, and conjures a telekinetic barrier around him. The golem is crushed by the unicorn, but the other two continue, their wards giving them a few more seconds, despite the ants, digging into the earth beneath the chalk with their blades and digging it up, even as Ar falls to the floor, gasping.

Alex takes a step back, and Maya makes vines pop out of the ground and tries to make then entwine Rasslin.
Ember is knocked to the ground by the vines, and had no idea this would happen.

The vines rise up around Rasslin, who looks somewhat surprised. They start to wrap around her legs, and start getting around her torso.

And then she smirks. And melts down into the shadows created by the vines.

I would say that was a bad move. Her voice sounds from the shadows themselves.

Reinholdt sits by Ember's deadtime, getting swallowed into it until she wakes up. Must've been a really good massage to have fallen asleep during it.

About a hundred feet off, Ilyena materializes in midair, flying. He's been watching from NOIR HQ, and he doesn't plan on letting Mercury get out of this alive. He'd just have to track him down again.

He's not casting at the moment, just chanting under his breath, preparing spells.

Time for Xavier to finish this. Chuckling to himself at the ease of the whole thing he approaches Mercury/Ar. Reholstering his gun and pull out his daggers
"You know I was almost concerned this mission was going to be a tough one. Thanks for making it so easy." He grins at Mercury. As he will raise a dagger and try and stab him. At the moment it's just an ordinary dagger.

FHR shudders a bit with a wince, his blush returning in full force, gulping slightly. He motions to an empty rock spot.

Isaac's pentacle is broken. He curses and reaches a hand up to one of his amulets, but there isn't any major evil spirits around to take advantage of it. The hellhounds are, well, they were trying to maul Ar and Xavier before the unicorn skewered them.

The horned horse canters up to Mercury and Xavier and tosses its head, snorting. It's pure eyes survey them both, looking for signs of corruption and evilness. Stabbing people usually is, but if the stabbed is evil...

The ants, once done with the golems, turn to swarm toward Isaac. The imp on his shoulder makes a small wall of hellfire that the insects walk straight into. They aren't smart, and are slaughtered while the magician simply takes another drink of water.

"Hey, I'll be right back. I'm going to go get my clothes on." She says, climbing out of the hot tub.

And Mercury is rising to his feet, the light behind his eyes gone, replaced by something beyond madness.

"Oh, will this can only end in tears..." Ilyena's outside the blast radius, and is still fairly high in the air. Deep breath, big spell. It takes the form of a simple, brilliant bolt; it's not a single element or energy, but a composite of several dozen, different varieties of magic cobbled together into one rather powerful spell.

Unicorn Petobismalian scan... well. I suppose I'm going to have to go with no Evil turns up. He isn't fundamentally evil. Though he is twisted. And tends to enjoy the vices and sins. He's more on the neutral end of the spectrum. Because he does find it in his heart to care and help others as often as he finds it to murder people.

Fwosh.. The fire burns right though Xavier. Leaving behind it. A series of blackened charred bones.


That's when the bones start to regrow. Replacing the the blackened parts. Then new flesh starts to grow.

In what amounts to close to five minutes. (So you know time for others to act) Xavier is standing there again. Completely untouched. And laughing like a maniac. "Oww, you know that really hurt." He exclaims while moving his new neck side to side cracking it for the first time.

"My turn." He'll try and slash at Mercury with his daggers. Slicy, Slicy. The whole time still laughing like mad.

One word: unicorn.

The majestic white beast whinnies in righteousness and rears up, sparkling horn reflecting the rays of a sun ten times brighter than this world's one. The unicorn's horn should absorb the fire from Mercury's blast. All of it.

Then explodes. Yeah. That's kinda painful for the horse. Well, not really. It's too dead to notice the pain.



Isaac whips out his chalk and speedily repairs his pentacle. He grabs at several pentagram-shaped silver amulets around his neck and whispers dark words. Three black shades appear at his shoulder, casting their malevolent red gazes at Mercury but not yet moving.

"Oh, you're no fun." Atoya pouts, then grins again.

The unicorn may absorb the fire, but only if it can survive the massive blast of pure magic Mercury hurls when he sees what it's planning, even as the fire begins to consume him.
