Default Palemaster or Mage of the Arcane Order

Hello playground. before I start my post I'd like to say I play in a medium op game. I am not looking to outshine the party. Im trying to be a batmanish wizard. Just by buffing/debuffing the party and enemies respectivl.
I am currently going to be the arcane caster for the party. So far I have two characters built.
One is a sorcerer 5 MAO 4. Planning to go into archmage by 15. THis character focus on battlefield control through spell focus (Conjuration) and sculpt spell.

My other is a Wizard 5 Palemaster 4. Who uses hordes of undead and energy subsitution cold and lord of the utter cold to blast and heal my undead at the same time.

If you want to focus more on buffing, I'd recommend War Weaver into Spellguard of Silverymoon, using Sanctum Spell to get 6th level spells on your buddies.

If Legacy Champion is on the table, you can crank that up to 9th level spells for everyone!

If you must have the undead... Incantrix (masculine: Incantor) instead of Pale Master. You're metamagic is improved, and you can fill in some feat slots with the undead crafting things instead of metamagic- Incantrix (masculine: Incantor) has bonus metamagic feats. I suggest banning Evocation with Incantrix (masculine: Incantor).

Besides... Incantrix (masculine: Incantor) is always a good choice.

    Always.

    Even then.

In regards to the Wizard 5/Pale Master 4 perhaps you could instead go with a build like Wizard 2/Master Specialist 3/Pale Master X/Frost Mage X? That allows you to really focus on build a Lord of the Utter Cold as well as keeps you relatively locked into a thematic concept so you won't be stepping on the other player's toes.
