Jerry eases the door open before stepping into the room. He has no idea what's going on here but... It doesn't look particularly good. The young man kneels down next to one of the apparent victims and...

"I think they're alive. I mean... They're breathing and stuff still..."

He glances about the room now.

...nothing appears to be stolen.

At least nothing obvious.

Ghar crosses his arms and waits. He couldn't have anything nefarious planned could he?

Magnio spins the box on a finger, then hurls it in the air, spinning round once the catching it in one hand and holding out to Ghar. Go ahead. Look inside. He says, grinning. This fool was outmatched, and now he would see it!

When Ghar opens the box roses poor out of it. "I don't believe that had the desired effect." Ghar says.

Ghar mutters something and the roses merge together to form an elemental of sorts. On its hands are large thorns. It takes a menacing step towards Magnio.

Now this, this is too obvious, too showy, for Magnio to deny. This is real magic, and the poor sap has only just realized it. He runs, desperate to escape.

Ghar laughs an evil laugh that you can tell has many, many years of practice behind it. He lets Magnio go, but not before sending a few flitting shadows after him to harass him for a while.

The vampire continues to walk down the street, toward the city gates. The rose elemental follows after him.

"There should be one right over there," Jerry comments as he moves to inspect the next victim. Sure enough, there is indeed a phone right over there.

Though as you might expect there's no dial tone when it's picked up.

Someone must have cut the phone lines!

"It looks like there's something on-OH GODS!" the young man exclaims suddenly as he leaps away from one of the victims. A softball sized spidery fungal thing is currently clinging to the back of her neck.

It's a row of three-storey terraced houses, identical to the roads in several directions. The group of clerics leaving the Nexus Battle Royale split in two here; the robed ones go down an alleyway, whilst the ones which did the fighting walk along the actual road. What will Kal and/or Decker do?

Obviously this means they need to split up! The heavily-armed assassin will continue down the main road, while the defenseless little girl will track them down a darkened alleyway!

"Decker, you follow these guys down the main road, and see which building they enter. I'll follow those ones down the alleyway and do the same. Once we know where they're going, I'll come and get you and we can decide what to do next. If anything happens, just find some PCs and act all innocent.
