Default Systems using just 1 die?

I'm just curious. I know of rpg-game systems that use just 1 type of dice, such as the old and new World of Darkness Storytelling system, which uses multiple d10s. My question though is, are there any systems that use just 1 die, not type, but actually only 1 dice. So all the players would only ever roll 1 die.

But... Torg has d12 for hitpoints and greataxe. Nale and Not-Nale have d6 for their swords too.

Paranoia does, at least in the ruleset I played; used just a single d20 per player. Of course, we also used poker chips to track Perversity Points, but there ya go.

The Dying Earth RPG uses just one d6. It's hilarious if your players have read the books by Jack Vance, and attempt the linguistics of the setting. I really need to start a new DE game soon...

    TriStat dX uses 2dX.

Standard is d6, but you could also use d8, d10 or even d20, which results in higher average rolls and adds the chance for much higher rolls.

GURPS also only uses the d6, though you'll probably need a handful of them for some stuff, like supers.
Game systems played: D&D Basic (and other rainbow coloured boxes), AD&D, D&D 2, D&D 3 & 3.5, Champions, GURPS, Warhammer, Cyberpunk, Rifts... and more I can't remember.

Shadowrun also only has d6. The strange thing there is, that the number on the dice doesn't matter at all. You don't count the numbers, but count the number of dice that show a 5 or 6.
An interesting idea, but even in our first session one player had to roll 10 dice several times just to punch a guy in the face.

WHFRP and Dark Heresy use a d% for almost anything, but d10s are used for some rolls (like damage and spellcasting/psionics).

Houses of the Blooded uses only d6, but you're going to need a whole bunch of them, kind of like the Storyteller systems with d10.

No it doesn't: It uses a bunch of them! The OP meant one die, not one die type. There are tons of systems that use on die type, but very few that use only one die.

ADRPG goes beyond that. It uses *No Dice* at all. It is the Amber Diceless Role Playing Game after all.

MAID RPG uses a single d6. There's a d66 table for character generation, but you can just roll the one d6 twice...

okay sometimes you might have to roll it 2-3 times but one is all you need.

Um a graphing calculator or dice roller application only uses one button sort of :D

Otherwise though, I find 1 die boring to roll. Too easy to fail horribly.

I like the systems that have a bell curve (I think is the right distribution) where low rolls are rare and so are high. So you end up with a middle average.
