Quick Erudite Query

Do classes such as Cerebremancer or Mind Mage count as psionic classes for purposes of an erudite losing his abilities?

I would think not sice they do not have their own power point progression or power points, but I want to be sure.

Also, stupid question, but does an Ardent 1/Erudite 2 have a manifester level of 3, or a manifester level of 1 for Ardent powers, and a manifester level of two for erudite powers?

Internet consensus seems to be that an erudite can take a +1 existing class PrC without losing the ability to learn new powers, and that +1 existing class also increases the erudite's number of unique powers per day. I don't think there's been an official ruling from WotC though.
