Teaching Newbie, please assist.
So recently I got myself into a situation, one that involves me teaching a new player how to play D&D (3.5) via Text-based chat systems (AIM to be exact). We tried for maptools but his computer has had ALOT of issues lately, so I am not going to fuss over it any more then we already have.
Anyways, what I would like to request from you, the community, is some of your best/favorite examples of D&D (any edition) you can muster. Obviously I want the straight Text, preferably organized to reduce clutter.
It'd be greatly appreciated to see some really good ones, so I can show the guy that D&D is just as fun without maps.
