    Default Hundserkr: Blink Dog Warriors (3.5, PrC, PEACH)

    Blink dogs one of the first good aligned creatures of D&D. In homage, in tribute, I present you this.

    Hundserks are an order of good aligned warriors who don cloaks made from the pelts of dead blink dogs* and gain some of the powers of the beasts who wore the skins in life. Donning these magic skins, hundserks serve as knight-errants traveling across the Prime material plane upholding law and order as they go, never staying in one place too long. Though knights sworn to order, they cannot by these same oaths stay in one place over long, propping up the righteous government and moving onwards to perform the most good for the most people.

    Most hundserks are humans, with halflings as the second most common. Dwarves rarely have the willingness to leave their roots even for the greater good, and elves rarely the dedication to order. Many hundserks worship Tyr, Heironeous, or other equivalent Lawful Good warrior gods, serving in a way as the hounds of justice.

    *They do not support blink dog poaching and prefer to get these skins from those dogs that die of natural causes. Woe be on any man foolish enough to attempt to sell a hundserk a blink dog's pelt, or even just lets a hundserk know he has willingly commited harm to a blink dog.

    Prerequisites:
    BAB: +5
    Alignment: Lawful Good or Neutral Good.
    Skills: Survival 4 ranks, Handle Animal 4 ranks.
    Special: Must be bestowed a blink dog skin or blink dog skin cloak freely and without compulsion by either a blink dog or another hundserk.

    Class Skills: Balance (Dex), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Gather Information (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Hide (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (Nature) (Int), Knowledge (Religion) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), Swim (Str), Tumble (Dex), Use Magic Device (Cha).

    Skill points per level: 4 + Int.

    Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: A hundserk gains no new weapon or armor proficiencies.

    Hundserk: Upon entering this class a hundserk is presented with a blink dog hide mantle or cloak. This mantle serves as the symbolic focus of their powers and the means by which they channel their abilities. If it is destroyed then they temporarily lose access to their dimensional Trance ability. They can conjure a new one by performing a 24 hour long ritual. In addition they may enchant their hundserk as if they had Craft Wondrous Objects and a CL of twice their class level. They do not have to the necessary spells as long as their effective caster level is at least as high as the CL of the item, you still must pay all costs required to create/enchant said item.

    If your hundserk is lost you may locate it as per the Locate Object spell at will with a CL of twice your class level, but you do not suffer any penalty for it being lost or otherwise seperated from your person.

    Dimensional Trance (Su): A hundserk can enter a special combat trance which heightens his focus as well as granting him certain of the abilities of a blink dog. He gains a +2 insight bonus to AC, Reflex saves, attack rolls, and weapon damage rolls as well as the ability to instead of taking a 5-ft step teleport up to 20-ft. Entering this trance is a free action and it lasts 3 + Con bonus + Wis bonus rounds (minimum 3 rounds).

    Wild Empathy (Ex): A hundserk gains the wild empathy ability as a druid or ranger of his class level, except that he suffers no penalty on performing the check when dealing with magical beasts. If he has wild empathy from another source they stack for determining his bonus.

    Evasion (Ex): A hunserk gains evasion as the rogue ability.

    Dimension Door (Sp): At 4th level a hunserk gains the ability to use Dimension Door as a spell-like ability at-will, unlike the actual spell though it has a medium range. His class level is his caster level for this effect.

    Greater Dimensional Trance (Su): At 5th level a hunserk's dimensional trance ability improves. The insight bonuses increase to +3 and he may teleport up to 40-ft instead of a 5-ft step each turn. In addition non-magical weapons and attacks have a 40% chance of failing against him as he slowly moves in and out of this existence. Magical weapons and specifically targetted spells have a 20% chance of failure unless they have the Ghost Touch property or are Force effects.

    Improved Evasion (Ex): A hunserk gains improved evasion as the rogue special ability.

    Greater Teleport (Sp): 3/day an 8th level or higher hunserk may use Greater Teleport as a Spell-like Ability his CL for this ability is equal to his class level.

    Perfect Dimensional Trance: At 10th level a hunserk's dimensional trance has reached the pinnacle of their art. The insight bonuses increase to +4 and he may teleport up to 60-ft instead of a 5-ft step each turn. In addition he is considered to be under the effects of Greater Blink while in this trance; this supercedes the miss-chance granted by Greater Dimensional Trance.
