I'm gonna go with my honesty. I'm honest to the point of being unable to call out work sick despite wanting to do it almost every morning.

My academic succes. For science!

The phoenix. According to legend it lives 500-1000 years, its song growing sadder is it nears the end of its life at which point it is consumed by its own flames, only to be reborn again for the cycle to begin anew. It is that resurrection I find most appealing. Although the phoenix will perish in flames, it will always rise from its ashes, no matter what.

I appreciate class and style, therefor my avatar has suitably classy items such as a tophat, monocle and cane, even though I don't actually own any of those items IRL. The bubbles are a reference to Yogh-Sothoth, because I'm a Cthulhu-mythos fan.

*groan* I can never give an honest answer to this type of questions because I don't know how I'll react when actually faced with a situation like that. I should save the large group of strangers, since that's the logical choice.

Nuclear physicist. Working on cold fusion sounds really existing. I'd still be doing research of some sort, though, like I am now. If I had to select something nothing to do with any research whatsoever, I'd try being a medical doctor.

How’s life at the moment?

It's alright. Not quite where I'd like to be, but I feel calm and collected. I have peace of mind and I suppose that's the most important thing.

Dark red.

Let's just go with the lower left quadrant. Mostly lawful neutral, but true neutral and lawful evil are (at times) also applicable.

White, because it stands for law, order and protection.

What is the meaning of life?

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women.

What are your thoughts on:
Love?

An integral part of life and being human. Once I believed being devoid of emotion, being as cold and logical as a machine, was a virtue, but now living a life without love seems like such a terrible thing. There are many different kinds of love of course. I would not like to live my life without it, although at times it still seems forever beyond my grasp.

Friendship?

This is essentially a subset of love, a non-romantic kind. The same as the above answer, really. Although we are all autonomous organisms, capable of functioning on their own, man is also a social animal. Whilst strength as an individual is admirable, we are often stronger when we have others to rely upon.

Freedom?

Important to a degree and again there are different kinds of freedom. No one can (or should) be completely free of all ideals and responsibilities or be so free as to do whatever you want without regard for others. However, everyone should be free to live their life as they see fit and those who seek to oppress without good reason should be ashamed of themselves. A good rule of thumb to go by is: "My freedom ends where yours begins".

What is the color of your aura?

Erh, depends on my mood? Probably a bit of a darker colour, though not overly so I reckon.

What does your essence taste like?

*bites self* Kind of coppery.
