EDIT: Uh oh, where the hell is Durkon? Is Malack busy draining his Con back there?

Yeah, we haven't seen Durkon for quite awhile. I've been wondering where he is.

Yup. Belkar does good deeds all the time. He just doesn't put too much thought into them, just as much as his evil deeds or basically anything else he does.

So... to respond to that previous poster who asked: "Did Belkar saved their lives just because he liked those guys?" and added "Doesn't seem likely." the only answer I can give is: "Yes, that's exactly what he did, and it does seem likely. Actually, it seems obvious."

You know, by provoking Roy in 748, he might be thinking he's responsible for Enor and Ganji fighting each other. Enor would have been fighting the Champ if Roy hadn't shown his skill. I wonder if he's feeling guilty even.

He doesn't know about Tarquin's vendetta of course, and it might have worked out this way without Belkar's actions. Although I think Tarquin would make Enor fight and die by the Champ's hands one week while Ganji watched, and then schedule Ganji to fight the Champ the next week.

Back in 606, there's one flaw in Shojo's logic. Good and Neutral 'players' might tolerate a cheat, but I doubt Evil warlords would.

Honestly, I think a lot of people are reading too much into Belkar's actions. He isn't necessarily doing things because he wants to foment evil, just like he isn't necessarily doing things because he wants to change, just like he isn't necessarily doing things in a spirit of goodness and puppy smiles.

He's doing things, largely because he feels like doing them, regardless of the consequences. Or because he thinks it's funny. Belkar just doesn't spend a whole lot of time considering his own motives. (Well, he spends more time then he used to, but it still isn't a whole lot.)

Until further proofs, can we simply resume Belkar commited a "moral questionable act", in a mirror way like Haley killing Crystal?

Low intelligence does not disqualify one from worshiping a god whose head was carved from a block of wood.

In fact, it would appear to be a requirement.

Ok first... That second part sounds just so damn wrong...

Secondly you answered your own question... The champ = Malack :D

Even though I'm relatively sure this isn't the champ's true identity, my first thought when I saw the champ was "Omg, it's Taz!" :p.

    Oh, my goodness. Taz.

He's strong, able to break stones and mountains, average sized, with a voracious appetite. Does he have an Escape spell?

    Who's that goofy-looking guy? A wrestler?

I would be inclined to wager that the Giant is not a wrestling fan.
