Fade is still here and drinks another Nuke Cola, at this rate he beginns to gloom soon.

The only known cure is to wait until you get better, I'm afraid. The Alchemists' Guild recieved many customers looking for hangover cures, but none of them worked.

"How long does it take?" Shae asks.

[Morty]

Dorotha is silent for a moment. She's never been drunk in her life. It depends on a person and the amount of alcohol that was drunk.

"Longer than a Year and a Day?" Shae asks. He doesn't want his entire sojourn among mortals to be this painful!

[The Bushranger]

Sharon, meanwhile, undeadtimes, and (having finished her Black Shadow), decides to head up to the stage, looking like she's getting ready to sing.

[Morty]

Dorotha can't help but smile. No. It won't be more than half a day.

[happyturtle]

Shea looks vastly relieved. "Oh! That's hardly any time at all! Thanks, mortal!"

[Morty]

Dorotha raises her eyebrows at being called "mortal". So... who are you, exactly?

[The Bushranger]

Sharon composes herself on the stage, taking a deep breath, and then softly speaks as the magic, long since unusused, starts the music playing.

"I...I dedicate this to the woman I love."

And then she starts to sing...

Reinholdt turns to watch Sharon. A bit surprised. For starters Sharon, singing. For second, there's a stage. For third... well, no that's about it.

He deadtimes though.

[Zefir]

Fade stops droinking and listens to the song sending out his shadow agains, just to make sure noone interupted her.

Ermine frowns at Sharon. Such songs do not interest the pirate at all, and they certainly weren't sung in her world. At least, not in the bars she frequented.

But the pirate does not interrupt, simply because that would be more trouble than ignoring the song and drinking more rum.

Dorotha raises her eyebrows at being called "mortal". So... who are you, exactly?

"My name is Shae," he says.

And then Sharon starts singing.

Song + hangover = unhappy fey. He claps his hands over his ears and generally looks miserable.

Sharon finishes her song, retreating quietly to her table.
Where she orders another Black Shadow, to drown herself in her sorrow.

[Morty]

I'm Dorotha. I can tell you're unfamiliar with our mortal customs. Are you a fey? A wild guess on her part; she's not familiar with fey.

"I am!" Shae says, with a feeble smile. "I am having a holiday among the mortals to get to know you."

[Earl of Purple]

Sharon may note the large, red-skinned toad-like creature approaching her. It has a bloated body and skinny legs that don't look capable of supporting its weight. There's a pair of long arms dangling so the daggerlike metallic claws nearly brush the floor, and its head is very unusual. There's a wide mouth, with an eye positioned at both ends of it. Beneath the mouth are two nostrils, positioned one above the other. Behind and slightly above the eyes are tympanic membranes, much as a frog would have. "Greetings, human. That was quite a nice song you just sang. My name is Iskandiira; what's yours?" The red slaad's voice is strange; it sounds like two people talking in sync, one deep and gravelly, the other high pitched and squeaky.

Sharon starts a bit at the approach of the slaad! And looks nervous. But smiles a little.
"T-thanks. I'm Sharon. Sharon O'Connell. P-Pleased to meet you," she says.

[Morty]

I see. Well, you've already tried one of the most popular types of mortal entertainment. She smiles a little.

"I was going to have sex too, but I wasn't subtle enough," Shae says. "And I learned about doors. But I don't like your dry baths. They don't make me feel very clean."

[Morty]

Dorotha blinks and tries to pick the safer subject. Dry baths?

"Zee told me when I was feeling sick I should get rid of it in the room of baths. And Wolfy told me where it was. But only one of the baths had water in it, and it was too small for me. So I stayed in the dry bath overnight." Shae says.

[Earl of Purple]

Oh, it's also nine feet tall and six wide around the belly. "I was wondering if that song had any particular special meaning, if I may pry?" Iskandiira also orders fried mephit wings.

[The Bushranger]

"It...kind of d-does, for me," Sharon admits.

Although she doesn't expound upon it, and doesn't look like she wants to, either...

Her hand does tighten around the metal-crescent-topped wooden staff leaning against the table, though.

[Morty]

"Zee told me when I was feeling sick I should get rid of it in the room of baths. And Wolfy told me where it was. But only one of the baths had water in it, and it was too small for me. So I stayed in the dry bath overnight." Shae says.

Dorotha blinks.
I think a longer explanation might be in order... She's not going to give it, though.

The red slaad will reach out and try to gently rub Sharon's back with one large, red, four-fingered hand. It tries not to hurt her with its metal dagger-shaped claws, but might not be very successful. It also looks slightly confused, though its odd facial configuration means the expression could easily be mistaken for anything else.

[The Bushranger]

Sharon starts a bit more at that!
But gives a bit of a grateful smile.
"T-thank you. I didn't know your kind c-cared - no offence," she quickly adds.

Dorotha blinks.
I think a longer explanation might be in order... She's not going to give it, though.

"Do I need to do it with more subtlety?" Shae asks.

[Morty]

Subtlety doesn't really enter into it. You should ask Wolfy or Zee to explain how to use bathroom appliances.

[Earl of Purple]

"No offense taken. Largely because if we do not wish to care, then we do not care. Personally, I think we should care more about others. We aren't the mindless automatons of Nirvana, after all." What's worse- an emotionally mutable being that cannot be relied on to do anything, or a emotionless creature that will carry out orders no matter what those orders are?
