Biggest surprise in a long while.

EDIT: I think one of the biggest points against a Linear Guild prequel book was that it would have to spend some time focusing on Yikyik and Zz'dtri--two very minor characters. If this isn't just another build-up to a punchline, I guess this would solve that?
