Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Comfortable slob Group hug!
I wear a T-shirt and shorts most of the time. I think 95% of my shirts are T-shirts, and I only have like 4 pairs of pants. 3 are cargo pants, and one is a pair of jeans. Everything else is shorts.Last edited by Mystic Muse; 2011-06-08 at 11:24 PM.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Bah! One learns to make one's own fashion. Although I have been told I look rather like a witch in some of my favorite outfits.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Indeed, so few things actually cling in the right places, and those always cost an arm and a leg so there's nothing to show off once one has lopped off all the limbs to get 'em.
Summertime and I get issues from the heat while I'm shirtless, just so you get an idea of where I'm coming from here in reacting to your preference for dark clothing in the summer.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Bought my first pair of woomen's trousers yesterday. They're awesome - figure hugging enough to be flattering, yet subtle enough that I can wear them in public. Also comfortable!

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
A lot of my more feminine clothing is far thinner than any of my masculine. So I can easily see the complaint.
In somewhat related news, a fair number of people at my exalted game kept forgetting my character was female, so I agreed to show up next session in a dress. Should be fun.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Sorry for the abrupt interjection, but I need some advice.
I have been in the Air Force for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love it here. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made (second only to choosing to come out to my family).
About 10 months ago, I met a guy named Zach (who is also an Airman), and he is absolutely amazing. He's intelligent, funny, unbelievably attractive, and I am head-over-heals for this guy, and I want to approach him to find out if he could feel the same way about me.
Under any non-military circumstance, I would just ask him and be done with it. I have worked damn hard to get my career going, and I don't want to jeopardize it, but on the other hand, I can't get him out of my head, and I'm about ready to loose my mind.
I do not believe that he will react badly, but whenever I steer a conversation in that direction, it always changes course again before I can figure out his feelings about LGBT people.
At the moment, I am leaning towards telling him, but I have been wanting to run it past someone for a while, and I just found LGBTitP about half an hour ago. So, what do you guys think? Go for it or no?

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
I can't give particularly good advice on that one. I know people who have gone both directions, and both options can result in some pretty big disasters. Ultimately, you have to decide whether it's worth the risk in your own circumstances.
My gut says ask him about the topic, but don't tell him outright. But that's me (I'm both cautious to sometimes fault and very anti-closet, so take this with a grain of salt), you need to draw your own line on your own time.
Also, I have two dresses to choose from. One is very goth probably overly so, the other I worry is too shapeless to be flattering. Opinions plz?

You look GOOD in the black one. "Goth" be damned, go with it.

I'd also go with the first one. I quite like how it looks on you.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
That black one definitely suits you. The other is indeed a tad shapeless. But that black one is just wonderful. And you look good on it.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Thanks guys. Flattery will get you everywhere. I'm still worried about the little cobwebs on it, but it sounds like #1 it is and #1 it shall be.
Also, no coid. Not a wizard. This is Exalted, I'm a magic firebending guitar-player, but I'm not a wizard.
Did a motivator of it over in Roleplaying.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
No idea what's best for you, Etrivar, sounds like a gamble either way. But I hope it goes well.
Excellent pick, Golentan, and indeed very Goth.
Dunno why that would be a bad thing, though. Goth is pweeeetty. =3Treasured Quotes

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fourteen
Etrivar, I would suggest finding out his tastes first. Ask his opinion about a movie involving LGBTA people or something.
and Golentan, Goth is indeed better looking but could be a wizard robe. The red one is more clearly feminine
