edit: Incidentally, this is the exact same problem Egyptologists have with reconstructing the ancient Egyptian language from heiroglyphs: got all the consonnants, none of the vowels, so you could pronounce it all sorts of ways.

I'm frustrated by the fact that, despite the acceptance of LGBT in the area there's no social support. We don't have a functional organization or support network outside the nearby college (which not really available to non-students), no gay bars or hang-outs that I'm aware of, and our pride event went belly up this year.
