hmm roy's armor was in that bag which likely means so was his (and belkar's) other gear, which could tip the scales of roys battle (and eventually whatever one belkar gets in)

This actually seems more like a Wisdom thing than Intelligence, or perhaps both, as common sense (which V is... Lacking) would dictate this same course of action. It is still, however, a smart move.

Also, I am very pleased by this turn of events. Z's angry expression in the last panel s/he (hereafter using "he" and such in the gender-neutral sense) appears in is great, as is the line, "Burn, you insufferably terse dullard!" Especially the expression, though, because he's realizing that V is, more or less, ignoring him, and that he can't really do much about it.

Also, Yuk-yuk's looking to be in for some pain. Which is good. Wonder who's going to take out Z, though. Betting on Durkon here, although Belkar's a possibility. Maybe. This could go... Several ways.

Edit: Also, V's confusion over Blackwing's, "Thanks for asking"; it seems more like him just being his usual self rather than slipping back into the "ignoring the familiar" stuff, but it's amusing.

Wait... we don´t know how many V´s daily spells there are left after his battle against Z. V always uses invisibility when it´s the only left (like in Azure City battles 1# and 2#), and there is nothing more useless in battle than a wizard without magic.
