"It's excellent." Percy says, looking around and smiling. Nicer than barracks, anyway. Though not quite as nice as the posh officer's suite he got on occasion, back on Earth. Guilty pleasure, that place. Didn't really deserve a room nicer than his soldiers, but it was too comfortable to turn down. "I appreciate it ma'am."

"I'll have furniture found for you immediately. Meanwhile, in Eastside, there's a place called Fallow's Furry & Feathered Friends. It's a pet shop, but ask a manager for more exotic wares and tell them the two-tailed scorpion sent you. The manager will take you beneath the store. Pick out some slaves; males for the Hermitage staff, but get one for you and a male elf for me." I can't remember how big Percival is so he may need a custom bed.

He's tall, but not inhumanly so. A large bed would do fine, by the looks of him.

Percival gives a loyal nod. "Of course. I can go now, if you like. I've marched with worse." Percy shakes his wounded arm.

Just how fast is Valente under the sun? How strong is he? Anything special he does before he lunges against the girl?

Dave keeps the sword in the T-Rex's neck. He attempts to slice through her neck, breaking her spine and paralyzing her.
Whether or not this works he'll bring up his blade and slice through the tree branches.

He's not very strong at all. The girl could probably overpower him. He's just hoping he can use his weight to knock her over after catching her by surprise. With any luck she'll drop that staff and Astrana will pick it up.

Wenomir shakes his head. Zanny, can't you use your bardic mojo to break the control?

Gods, those teenagers are annoying. But not a real problem. Wenomir decides to call DC who should be able to pull that thing out with one of his airship. It'll have to wait unti DC-the-player undeadtimes, though.

The dino continues to thrash about, still madly attempting to shake Dave off of it. Dave manages to cleave a rather large gash into the dino's neck. It roars in pain. One of the spaces between the plates of its spine is hacked at, but it isn't severed entirely. Tree limbs are cut and fall to the floor. The lizard refuses to go down.

Looks like Dave needs to either cut up its muscles a little bit more or just let it bleed out.

A bit of blood gets on Dave's face.
He now looks quite angry!
He goes to slice through her open wound at a ninja speed!

Bleeding! Blood spurting up out of the dino's torn open neck in Dave's general direction!

The carnivorous "queen of the dinosaurs" takes three more steps before it topples to the ground, dead. The ground quakes under its weight as it hits.

Dave is in the middle of the jungle again. A path of wrecked trees leads back to where the chase began. Clarissa drops down into a crouching position from one of the nearby trees.

"Did you enjoy yourself?"

Dave doesn't respond until after he took the female T-Rex's longest and sharpest teeth and strapped them to his back. They would make good bone katanas.
"It was quite fun. Do you want some of this T-Rex? I can't eat it all by myself."

"I don't have anything else for you to do, and it shouldn't be too much trouble. Yes, I don't have a problem with you leaving now. Oh, go find Azurelle and tell her where you're going; she might want a slave or two. She offered to buy the last personal slave I had." Elezibethele will also ask a guard to fetch the money chest, from which she will take out three bags of money, each rather large bags.

Clarissa is drooling, but she manages to keep herself from tearing into the T-Rex immediately.

"You should probably have your fill *slurp* first. Once I start eating something like that, I *gulp* don't stop."

"Why don't you go ahead and eat the whole thing. I had a big breakfast and I'm not hungry."

Clarissa walks over to Dave and attempts to kiss him on the cheek! While doing so, her tail begins to engulf the dead dino's head. It seems to dissolve as soon it enters her body. She'll probably manage to eat the whole corpse in this fashion while still facing Dave.

Dave is kissed!
"So how was it?"

"It was really good!"

Clarissa smiles and attempts to bury her face in the front of Dave's shirt.

Dave will attempt to put his arms around Clarissa as she buries her face into his chest.
"Don't tell me we're already done."

Wenomir gets a short and to the point reply, typical of the psychic. "What do you need?"

I need to retrieve a meteorite from the bottom of a lake. I need the iron for a new sword. I can't do it myself, so could you fly here with one of our airships and drag it out? The word "our" is spoken with reluctance.

[That Cave!]

Butler is teleported here, holding a wet rag!

He looks around, greatly confused.

The girl isn't taken completely by surprise and aims her staff at Valente, but before she can use it the sheep from before which somehow have gotten into the horse pasture bumps into her and it misfires, giving him ample time to reach her.

She holds the staff tightly however and attempts to knee him in the crotch.

Astrana haven't been biding her time though and rushes forward to help.

Arracame Cave

The cave is lit through a hole in the ceiling and seems to be filled with all kinds of rubbish. There's a pile of rotting carpets, an upside-down piano, stacks of disintegrating cardboard boxes, a large lake with a vending machine in it and a stone statue lying in many pieces. Butler may be able to make out a patch of darkness marking the only tunnel leading away from this place besides the roof-vent.

Arracame Cave

Butler moves around the cave a bit. Huh. This didn't look like GLoG at all!

"Hello sir? Anyone here sir?"

Oh hey. A tunnel. Might as well go down it if no one answers.

Clarissa is trapped by Dave's arms! She turns her head to the side so that she can speak without Dave's clothes getting in the way.

"I did make out the scent of a pack of velociraptors not far from here, if you still want to kill stuff."

Arracame Cave

There's an echo, but otherwise no answers.

Should Butler not be fooled by the cursed nymph, the tunnel twists quite a bit before leading to the surface.

"Oooow, dammit!" That hurt. A lot. Valente does his best to stay on top of her, but he's having trouble. Hopefully Astrana has enough time to act.

"Stop trying to steal my name sir!"

"Where are you anyways sir?"

"I'm right here sir."

"Maybe you should show yourself sir?"

"I'm not hiding sir. You are sir!"

"Do you know the way back to GLoG sir?"

"You're a horrible copy cat, you know that sir? I bet you haven't even heard of GLoG sir."

"You're no help at all sir. Good day sir!"

Butler heads down the tunnels.

Arracame Cave- Surface

Just inside the cave's mouth is a brass desk-lamp starting to go green with verdigris.

On the surface, a road is nearby, with a convenient signpost not too far off.
