Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
Torchwood generally got better as it went on. First series was mostly not that good. Second series was better but still had issues. Children of Earth was generally reckoned to be very good (if depressing).
Haven't actually watched Miracle Day yet, but I've heard good things."'But there's still such a lot to be done...'
YES. THERE ALWAYS IS."

Really? I found Children of Earth to be a pile of absolute tripe. Hence my surprise about this not being.

Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
Is it weird I wanted my class ring to have my birth year on its side instead of my graduation year? Because I'm catching passive-aggressive flak for it, and am reconsidering.

They don't exactly kill you with kindness. THey send you back in time, then feed off the energy of the years you would have lived.
Unless they just break your neck, like they did the second time they turned up.Quotebox

I've decided Come Together by the Beatles is really a magic spell. It has all those random words followed by 'Come together, over me,". They were clearly trying to summon a demon.

Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
I'm hoping not to use a walkthrough yet, but if I do, thanks, ow I wont have to go hunt one down.
It's at the very beginning, she wants me to jump through literal hoops to get to the far side of the dance club thing. There seems to be a monkey on the other side, and some emotional baggage...Spoiler: This signature is a historical relic from a long-ago time of regular forum activity.Aww man! Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
Ooooh, so it's still in that tutorial section? Hm. Don't remember having problems with that myself. Are you jumping and floating, or just jumping? You lose momentum if you float, so try using the space you can before the jump to gather speed, and try to hit them without floating.

Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
Hey, just a random question. Can any of you maaaybe explain Mutants and Masterminds better to me? I'm just curious because I'm looking at the 3rd edition book, and I can see a lot of potential. Especialy since I also have the Manga and Mecha supplement as well, which is making me geek out like crazy.

Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
Squee!
No, I couldn't find it anywhere. was it behind a cobweb? Because I looked all over, nothing. Although I don't really like this whole section, because the bright colors and constant moving around of angles combined is making me feel sick, so I might have not looked long enough.Spoiler: This signature is a historical relic from a long-ago time of regular forum activity.Aww man! Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
That little room is the main reason I'd recommend Psychonauts as a game it's so... fitting and actually harmonic with the rest of the level.
SpoilerI take it you also opened the safe.
Look for a FAQ to find it, you'll have a very pleasant surprise speaking in terms of respect for the game and the plot and a rather... how to put it... shocking emotional moment.Last edited by AsteriskAmp; 2011-08-29 at 09:12 PM.

Re: Heliomance's Blasphemously, Trend-Destroyingly Unalliterative Random Banter #167
I don't recall there being a cobweb involved, there might be. Don't quote me on this, but I think the second vault is towards the end, where Milla is having her dance party. There should be a balcony off to the side somewhere that you can jump/float to that has the vault tucked away. May not be in Milla's dance party room, so just keep your eye out for a stray balcony somewhere.
