On the topic of Doctor Who, I've started watching the Miracle Day Torchwood series. It is surprisingly un-terrible.

Torchwood generally got better as it went on. First series was mostly not that good. Second series was better but still had issues. Children of Earth was generally reckoned to be very good (if depressing).
Haven't actually watched Miracle Day yet, but I've heard good things.

Some of the episodes are a bit hit and miss, but as a whole it is a great series. Also, they do like taking wierdness to the extreme .

P.S. The robot dog would be K-9.

Arrgh, guys help me! I cannot figure out what I'm missing in Psychonauts1 I'm trying to get to the far side of Milla's mind and float through these hoops, but I always fall short and sink before I get there! Augh! I'm doing everything it says! Help!

Ooooh, so it's still in that tutorial section? Hm. Don't remember having problems with that myself. Are you jumping and floating, or just jumping? You lose momentum if you float, so try using the space you can before the jump to gather speed, and try to hit them without floating.

Hm. That shouldn't happen, I don't think. The use of the balloon doesn't fade over time or anything.

I took a peek at the speed run that was linked, and that guy managed to jump through the hoops without using a balloon. Maybe try that, if you haven't already?

Hey, just a random question. Can any of you maaaybe explain Mutants and Masterminds better to me? I'm just curious because I'm looking at the 3rd edition book, and I can see a lot of potential. Especialy since I also have the Manga and Mecha supplement as well, which is making me geek out like crazy.

No, I couldn't find it anywhere. was it behind a cobweb? Because I looked all over, nothing. Although I don't really like this whole section, because the bright colors and constant moving around of angles combined is making me feel sick, so I might have not looked long enough.

I don't know. There are some fun bits but having to wade through the awful stuff might make me less inclined to go over and do it again. However, the teleporters might let me go back in to find the second vault. Why is it sad? (OMG, Sashas was so sad!!!!)

That little room is the main reason I'd recommend Psychonauts as a game it's so... fitting and actually harmonic with the rest of the level.

I don't know. There are some fun bits but having to wade through the awful stuff might make me less inclined to go over and do it again. However, the teleporters might let me go back in to find the second vault. Why is it sad? (OMG, Sashas was so sad!!!!)

Look for a FAQ to find it, you'll have a very pleasant surprise speaking in terms of respect for the game and the plot and a rather... how to put it... shocking emotional moment.

There should be a balcony off to the side somewhere that you can jump/float to that has the vault tucked away. May not be in Milla's dance party room, so just keep your eye out for a stray balcony somewhere.
