The buzzing is a swarm of CYBORG BEE PIRATES!
They ignore the mouse, as it doesn't appear to have any loot, and rush towards the woman, hoping to fly into her pockets and zip back to the hive with her money!

Syra finally sees the source of the sound. And it's coming straight for her.

She pulls her right hand out of a pocket and holds it to her side. There's a bright flash, and a large, key-like object of stone appears. It has softly glowing blue runes on it, and a keychain of a small booke hanging off the end in her hand.

She'll bring it in front of her and point it at the bees, uttering a single word.

Reflect.

A barrier of light pops up in front of her. Depending on how many bees there are, and how strong they are, it should block them.

The bees are rather strong, but this is only a fraction of the entire swarm. They bounce of the shield, buzzing tiny curses at the woman!
"Yarr! Learn t' beehive, landlubber!" the captain bee growls, "And get t' givin' us yer loot!" The captain waves his stinger about at the woman!

Syra gives a short, cold laugh. Wow. Pirate bees. This place just keeps getting crazier.

She doesn't lower her Keyblade as she talks. Look, I don't plan on giving you anything. So, save yourself some trouble, and go pick on somebody else.

Why couldn't it remember how to speak!

Meanwhile, a fairly tall woman is walking toward the source of the disturbance. She has shoulder length brown hair as well, despite having no connection to the other person, and piercing white eyes. She's currently wearing dark blue robes.

The captain bee scowls at her, and the cyborg bee pirate swarm shifts about to form a small cannon! Without any logical place to have stored or gotten it, the bees fire a wrought iron ball the size of a football (sorry, soccer ball) at the woman!
"If'n yer gonna fight back..." the captain grins (somehow), "Bee PREPARED!"

Another swarm seperates from the hive and goes to try and take anything valuable off of the newcomer!

While Syra holds her Keyblade, she should be able to understand what the mouse says. As long as he's close enough for her to hear.

Yeah...same goes for you.

Fire.

With the Keyblade still pointed at the swarm, a burst of flames shoots out of the end of it at them.

She fumbles hastily in her pocket, and pulls out... A feather?

She flicks it at them forcefully. They should be shoved back when she does so.

The mouse is, indeed, close enough for her to hear.

It said "I wish I could remember how to talk... Maybe a mage?"

One swarm wonders what happened to the cannon ball and is bathed in flames which change the air pressure via heat and make it impossible for them to fly, killing a little over half of them and knocking the rest to the ground, and the other swarm is scattered about, screaming in surprise!

The first swarm...assembles itself, in a way. The bees join together to form a young man. Well, sort of a young man. Well, half of sort of a young man. He's got black and yellow striped skin, black fuzz covers his forearms, he's wearing a black pirate's uniform and a bandanna with a golden honeycomb on the front. He's curled up in the fetal position, whimpering in pain as he clutches at the burnt ends of his legs, which are gone from the knee down.

Syra lowers her Keyblade slightly as the kind-of-man appears, slightly confused.

Without taking her gaze from the bee-man, she speaks to the mouse.

You can talk just fine. Just not in Common.

Her Keyblade will allow him to understand her, as well.

Talina begins to hastily rummage through her pouches for spell components.

The mouse, meanwhile, looks up at Syra interestedly.

"I used to be able to speak Common, though. And how do you understand mouse?"

The young man doesn't say anything. He just whimpers.
Actually, one closer inspection, it turns out he's not a man at all!
It's a skinny young woman!
And you burnt her legs off! How could you bee so cruel?

The second swarm reforms itself and dives into the underground tunnels of the park's long dead vampire honey bee ninjas, popping up from one of the holes behind Talina and stabbing at her ankles with their swords!

Depending on the size of the swords, and how strongly they're stabbing, Talina will either yelp or scream in pain.

She flicks the feather at them again, trying to smash them into the ground.

The swords are slightly bigger than bee stingers, and are similarly loaded with mild toxins.
The thing is, though, there are a LOT of them.

The bee woman crawls desperately towards the hive, hoping not to die.

Syra looks between the crawling woman, and the woman getting stabbed.

She sighs.

Then points her Keyblade in the direction of Talnissa.

Aero.

A large gust of wind shoots out, aiming to blow the bees away.

The earth shakes in a corner of the park. Something is digging his way through the earth. After a few moments a giant skorpion with stone like skin comes out of the hole. He mostly looks likethis only that his color is darker and the purpel is near black.

If Syra's gust of wind works, Talnissa will pull a small bag of metal dust from one of her pouches, scoop a handful out, and toss it into the air. At that point, the bees should get a nasty jolt.

Though, naturally, that's all conditional.

Surprised out of their minds, the second swarm retreats, hoping to find someone else, someone easier to pirate off of!
