    Default Artificer help

    I imagine a character who carries around a tower shield covered in magic traps; perhaps some constructs/strongholds doing the same as well, with the goal of being a support caster with no respect for the action economy.

    My question is as to whether there is a way to maintain control of when/where the traps fire so that I can avoid accidentally roasting the town, the party, etc. I was thinking lead shutters/blinders and a pulley system would do most of the needed work.

    What does the eminent Playground think? Am I missing anything?
