    Default Some good gaming tunes?

I'm putting together a nice youtube playlist full of background mood music.

I was wondering if the playground had any suggestions for me.

Here's an out-of-the-box suggestion: Portal 2. Some of the creepier exploring music from that game fits really nicely in a dungeon laced with mechanical traps and unknown devices. You don't even need Portal references to make it work!

Since you didn't specify which RPG, if it happens to be Paranoia, then I recommend Shiny Happy People and/or Another One Bites The Dust.

Just an example, but I find that the soundtrack of Super Robot Wars Original Generations can fit just about anytTROMBE OVERRIDE!

    For Fantasy Flair:

Conan The Barbarian OST (the original one not from the crappy re-make).

    Also:
Eiswerk - Weltuntergang / Weltenklang (depending on CD/or youtube upload) and Der Bestimmung entgegen
    Have a nice Day,

I'd suggest some of Mannheim Steamroller's stuff (but not Christmas, unless it's a Holiday-themed adventure). A sample, which I think would work rather well after the death of a party member…

Most of the stuff is made with synthesizer, so you may need to watch out for the overly electronic feel of some of them, but I think a fair number work well for a fantasy campaign.

For my group, it needs to be something that doesn't vary in volume greatly, and they can't sing along.

For my next game I'm planning a soundtrack of mostly Rodrigo y Gabriela, Silk Road Ensemble, and Psallentes (Gregorian Chant),

I'm planning to use Septicflesh's The Great Symphonic Mass in a horror setting sometime, and I think I can recommend it. Don't be deterred by the name, or the fact that Septicflesh is a (symphonic) deathmetal band; this is the orchestral version of their last album. Here is a sample track.

There can be no resurrection of 3.5. But the SRD is the phylactery of 3.5 and it's kind of eternal for that.

Recently dubbed a “grognard” because I refuse to convert to Pathfinder 2e. I’m getting too old for these edition changes and so I proudly bear my new title.
