And scowls. He hates being interrupted during a tirade by a scene change!

Erin has likely been brought along with Thenadier and Reinholdt!

...and now brings her fist around on a trajectory aimed at Thenadier's head.

Plains. Of Dooom!

Thenadier ducks at the last moment with his finely honed combat instincts. His cane appears in his hand and swings to trip Erin. The cane transforms mid-swing into a sword.

[Reinholdt]

Plains

Reinholdt sighs and starts shifting into cat form, his clothes melding into himself as he does. He expects that even these handcuffs aren't good enough to keep a small kitty from just slipping it's paws right out of them. Especially since the Inspector is distracted.

The sword-cane swings at Erin's legs...and she turns partially intangible just before it hits!

Partially meaning her legs, of course.

The rest of her is still rather tangible, and she's attempting to tackle Thenadier!

The shackles are bound to him. They just get smaller and tighter to wear it fits the paw. Those were expensive and very useful. They're still chained onto the cat via magic.

Thenadier falls to the ground and tries to roll on top of Erin and jab his sword-cane into her eye.

Magic, huh? Well Rein has a few magic tricks up his own sleeve. In fact he mutters a few words and throws a spell at them! One of his old classics. A spell designed to unlock, unchain, and unbar obstacles like doors and manacles!

Erin turns herself fully intangible with a grin!
This likely produces for Thenadier the rather disturbing-feeling situation of being in the same place as somebody else at the same time. Literally.

[Hattish Thing]

This causes the shackles to explode with magic. His arcane magic only feeds it...Those cost a fortune. Thenadier had down a huge favor for the hutt he purchased it off of.

Thenadier shudders before his cane shifts into magic! A magical blade might hit her! It ripples in power. Thenadier tries to stab her again.

[Reinholdt]

Plains

By... explode with magic... what exactly do you mean? They obviously don't literally explode. Right?

Reinholdt shifts back into human form and starts working on pulling the knife out of his belt and turning it to cut at the shackles. This special knife won't cut through organic material at all, but goes through inorganic material, like metal and rock, easily.

[Plains]

Ahh, but what sort of magic?
If it's ghost-touch, it cuts Erin's shoulder as she sinks into the ground!
If not, well, it doesn't, but she still sinks into the ground.

And either way she tries to grab Thenadier by the ankle!

[Hattish Thing]

The shackles finally break and the magic falls!

It is ghost touch! She's stabbed! Nooo! Well, Then is distracted by the shackles being tampered with. He reaches into the pocket with the pistol with his free hand and shoots a knock-out dart at Rein. Thenadier's ankle is grabbed.

[Reinholdt]

Plains

"Hah!" Rein says, getting them off and turning pink as he starts to fly away.

Remember that long description about the large amounts of clothing and vests and scarfs and necklaces and jackets and shirts Rein wears?

Well the dart hits... but doesn't penetrate his own armor. Which basically consists of 'omg how does he wear that in the summer without dying of heat stroke?'

If the Inspector aimed and fired a second shot at the escaping feline's lesser protected legs, he'd probably hit, now knowing about Rein's multi-layered protection.

[Plains]

Erin, meanwhile, now attempts to pull Thenadier down into the ground via intangibility!

Down to his knees.

Just enough to get him well and truly stuck.

[Hattish Thing]

Plains

Thenadier fires at Rein's legs now. Thenadier has no resistance to that and is dug into thr ground.

[Reinholdt]

Plains

"Ow!" Rein says, continuing his speedy flight aw... sleepy flight to... whoa...

Reinholdt wavers up and down and to the side a bit before beginning a plummet over there.

[Plains]

And Erin bursts out of the ground, leaving Thenadier in his prediciment as she tries to catch the falling Cat!

...remembering to turn back to tangibility at just the last possible moment.

[Hattish Thing]

Thenadier's legs are stuck, but he fires another tranquilizer at Erins back thigh.

[Reinholdt]

CRUNCH

Oh. No wait, it seems Erin is catching sleepy Rein. Ok then. Whatever sound that's supposed to make happens.

Maybe 'pffft'?

Erin gets hit!

...the tranq doesn't appear to be Super Effective.
As she floats down to the ground, turning to glare at Thenadier!

"Cut it out."

The tranquilizer is strong enough to put a troll to sleep. Rein should be out for about a day.

Thenadier takes out another gun and shoots a bullet at Eron.

[Harnel's Birthday party]

Cessie and Harnel arrive here riding on Stheno, it seems a earth elemental have been busy setting up a small pavilion in the middle of a clearing in this forest with a dinner table, balloons and everything.

Perhaps even Sakura, Adir and Laela are here?

[Reinholdt]

Wouldn't that amount of tranquilizer kill a normal person?

Rein doesn't particularly react at the moment!

[Harnel's Birthday Party]

Whee, party! Sakura is certainly here. Not sure about Adir, but he's bound to be nearby. Sakura was sure that they were early. Speaking of the dryad, she's seated at the table and holding a balloon in front of Laela's face, much to the baby's amazement.

Adir's at a grill nearby, getting things ready. He's unpacking a couple veggie-patties for Sakura when the two roll up on Stheno. His present's on the table, a non-descript little box that seems mildly magical.

"Nice ride." He calls over. "If that's Cessie's birthday present, put me down for one too."

Eron doesn't get hit, as there's nobody named Eron here.
...Erin, on the other hand, happened to lean down to set down Reinholdt at the moment of firing, so the bullet likely goes zing! overhead and downrange.

...and she looks up, eyes flashing red.
"This is your last warning. STAND DOWN."

Yes,yes it might sadly. The amount of tranquilizer would kill a human, but Thenadier guessed Reinholdt wasn't exactly all human. It would probably still give the poor kitteh shapeshifter some brain damage. Thenadier can escape this! His teleport! It would teleport him right out of the ground! He clicks the button and reappears a few feet away from ERIN'S () Unprotected back silently. However, the ground had severely damaged his armor and had cut his legs down there rather badly. He shoots one final point blank shot at her head with a ghost-touch bullet. (Yes he has 'em. He's used 'em before) Before he drops his pistol and readies his cane.

Harnel's Party

Stheno would have made sure that the ride was smooth as possible, gentle because of the babies the couple were about to have. Harnel would have figured out that she didn't like to be driven at least, and would have drove herself.

She slows down when she gets near Sakura and Adir, and her stand flips out so she can lean to the side, allowing Harnel and Cessie to climb off easier.

Reinholdt can be skipped and godmodded to an extent for a while. Hopefully he'll get medical attention before brain damage/death occurs. If it does. We'll see.

Harnel won't object to Stheno driving herself. When you have a ride that can think and knows where it's going better than you do, it's best not to argue.

Once they arrive, He'll help Cessie off the gorgon, looking remarkably happy, "This looks awesome." Thanks for the ride, Stheno. It's greatly appreciated.
