There is actually a subforum for exactly this, with numerous games to choose from (mostly D&D 3.x). Some of them clearly work quite well.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.

Note that the subforum has a diceroller that you can use, if you want rolls made in-post.

What he said. Also there is a built in system for dice rolling on the forum :)
