    Trainer's Background/Bio:
    Having had Shrike since he was a child Liam has recently become interested in expanding his group of Pokemon, and after reciving the message to come to Kanto became interested in joining their sanctioned snaggers so that he could help abused pokemon. He often volunteers Starly as a delivery agent for his school and Shrike has gained a name as the quickest way to deliver a message inside the town of Hearthome in Sinnoh.

    A fairly unassuming person liam has short blonde hair with a friendly face standing at 5'11 he is about average size and so easily gets lost in the crowd especially with his less than bull like frame

    Our bouncing baby boy hails from the noble lands of Lavender city. Having been born to Elisa and Brian Black, both members of one of the many families that serve as keepers of the Pokemon Tower, he'd always been quite aware of the true nature of the world he lived in. Such truths were hard to deny when you witness someone burying their loved ones at least once a month.

    Though death didn't seem that bad to little Damien; it was just something that happened. No one lived for ever, and everyone had their time to go. Besides, it was hard to see a death as such a bad thing while surrounded by ghosts all the time; which would be best defined as bored internet trolls at the worst of times and were generally fun to be with for a little kid like him. Of course this all changed after the incident.

    It had occurred around a few months ago, he'd finally gotten his starter; a jolly and energetic charmander. The two had a bit of a rough start, but were quickly became close friends after trouncing a pair of caterpies that had snuck up on them during an argument. The little charmander loved to strech its legs, and fell in love with battling once Damien and him had stumbled upon some of their parents old recordings of various Indigo Plateu championships and contests. It's no wonder the little dragon practically begged him to try entering the new pokemon tournament that was going to be starting up in several months.

    Given how there was no telling if there would be another tournament afterward, they decided to make pact together. Promising each other that they'd do everything in their power to join and beat it; make a name for themselves by being the last champion of the first of the new generation. So it was that the two of them delve into their training, much to his parents dismay. There were several lively arguments about it, but in the end his family consented to let him try. After all, he'd still need to impress a sponsor to get in. Thus with his parents support Aden and him redoubled their efforts. Sadly it was not to be.

    While training in the forests near Lavender young Damien and Aden got a bit carried away chasing after caterpies and pidgeys, and ended up getting lost. It was during their search for a way out that they bumped into an older trainer. What proceeded was a one sided slaughter worthy of the greatest of tragic comedies. The end result was his charmander being beaten by the boys warturtle, and Damien getting the snot beaten out of him by the other trainer and his warturtle. After they left he finally fell unconscious by Aden's side; having lost half his money and his best friend that day.

    He awoke the next day at the local pokemon center. His body was beaten and bruised, but his spirit felt much worse; he'd felt like part of him was missing, and he felt like his grief would eat him up. He finally understood how all those other kids and adults felt when they went to Pokemon Tower. Thankfully his sorrow was soon overwhelmed by confusion once the nurse said how lucky he was. Apparently his litwick had not only saved him from getting hypothermia, but had also led another local to him; and it hadn't left his side since they'd brought him in. When he turned, there he was by the night stand smiling at him softly with a concerned look on its face.

    The situation proved befuddling enough to him, and was only made worse once his parents were found out. Odily enough the little Litwick stayed by his side through out the whole process, and helped him heal quite a bit. As time passed, he eventually became convinced that his new friend was in fact his old one; having decided to come back to him. He saw the signs, they were both so alike, and saw no other explanation. The moment Damien saw its face light up while watching one of his old videos he knew it had to be true. Aden didn't seem to show any objection to the matter; though Damien never really asked it.

    It was during his time recovering that he found out about the prize for becoming champion. He had known about the new league for some time, but he'd never realized what the prize actually was. A single wish from Jirachi itself. If half the legends he'd heard over the years was true, then this was something huge. He spent sometime thinking about his ordeal, the world, and his friends over in the Pokemon Tower. He remembered how he felt when he lost was separated from Aden, all the battles and tragedies that had gone over in years past, and all of the mad men and disasters that had changed their world so much; ,until he finally reached a decision.

    He and Aden would keep their promise. They would beat the league and trounce the elite four, they'd become famous like they'd always wanted; but most importantly, they'd make a wish. A wish that would stop these tragedies from ever happening again; and then no one would have to cry for the loss of a friend before their time. For this reason Aden and him must enter and win the League before anyone else, they can't take the risk of someone wasting Jirachi's wishes before then. Surely Jirachi has the power to do it. The fact that it hasn't been done yet, just means that they haven't thought of it or just haven't figured out the proper wording and don't want to waste the wish, right?

    Though as of light a different thought has occurred to him. Whether or not Jirachi can bring back the dead. He's humored the idea once or twice, could he use Jirachi to revive Aden? Thankfully he soon cuts off that train of thought; Aden's with him already, besides he seems quite happy as a Litwick. However, the question keeps popping up; could Jirachi do it? Though he knows he'll never get the chance to test it. After all, he can't just sacrifice eternal peace for humans and pokemons just to bring back give his friend his body back...or could he?

    Ghosts or Ghost-Type Pokemon may attempt to possess a trainer who has the feature Sensitive Link. When this occurs, you may roll 1d20 and add your WIS modifier. If the result is 15 or more you may successfully resist possession. If possessed, you may repeat this roll every 5 minutes to try to break out of possession. If you roll 20 or higher, you may instead choose to possess the pokemon that was attempting to posssess you. They gain the same resistance roll, adding their Intelligence capability to the roll instead of a WIS modifier.

    Legendary Pokemon may also attempt to possess a trainer who has the feature Sensitive Link. When this occurs, you may roll 1d20 and add your WIS modifier. If the result is 25 or more you may successfully resist possession. If possessed, you may repeat this roll every 10 minutes to try to break out of possession. If you roll 30 or higher, you may instead choose to possess the pokemon that was attempting to posssess you. They gain the same resistance roll but need only roll a 15 or higher, adding their Intelligence capability to the roll instead of a WIS modifier.
