In Need of First Level Adventure[3.5]
I'm about to start running a new campaign starting at first level for my friends but I'm having writer's block for the first adventure to begin their characters careers. Only 3 players at the moment. One is planning on starting out as a commoner for RP purposes and is getting minor exp bonuses for that. #2 is starting out as a minotaur (savage progression). Third person can't really make up his mind. Stats are going to be generated by 1d10+8 for each ability.
Any suggestions for starting this out are welcome and would be very much appreciated.SpoilerMy Characters:

Re: In Need of First Level Adventure[3.5]
The WotC website has several published adventures available, including 3 1st-level examples, found here-

Personally I inserted Dark and Stormy Knight into an E6 game at one point.
I'd also suggest looking at articles in the rest of the 3.5 archives for inspiration, they're very well written and I've used several things either in whole or in part in my games.
Other than that, some books have adventures in them, and 1st level is popular with the writers. Off the top of my head I know Ebberon Campaign Setting, one of the few books I didn't lose when I moved to MA, has a 1st-level adventure. I'd recommend removeing the beetle swarm encounter though, swarms are damn dangerous at low levels.

Re: In Need of First Level Adventure[3.5]
The whole arc in Eberron, from the one in the Campaign setting to Vampire's Blade, is pretty epic.
Overall though, my favorite 1st level adventure is Wreck Ashore, or an adapted version of any 1E module.

Caves of Chaos is a classic for starting any campaign.

Re: In Need of First Level Adventure[3.5]
If you need a very fast adventure you can try The Fright at Tristor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fright_at_Tristor
It was a very basic RPGA adventure for 3.0 but it's almost a non-issue using it for 3.5. I like to use this to introduce new players to D&D because it's pretty tropey and straight-forward as far as "ye old fantasy adventure" goes and it doesn't take a lot of time to get through.
