Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
No such thing as "Canadian bacon". There is only one country in the entire world that has "Canadian bacon", and that's America. The vast majority of the world uses strip bacon and back bacon equally. Get over yourself.
It was strip bacon, though.
But Bacon Nation also offered a BB(s)BLTN. Um, a Back Bacon and (strip) Bacon and Lettuce and Tomato and Nutella sandwich. They also had deep-fried bacon-weave-wrapped hot dog-onna-stick, bacon-wrapped-deep-fried-mars-bar-onna-stick, bacon-wrapped-hot-dog-covered-in-bacon-bits...
Edit: not exactly. Pemmican is ground beef, extra fat, and berries, all packed REALLY tightly together into a bar-like thing, for super-nutrience on long hiking or canoing trips in the wilderness.

I'm sorry! I watched your latest episode you linked on GitP (unless you've just put another up), but I've been a bit stressed over some things I've been handling now that I'm back home, and I didn't remember to comment along. I'll catch up and remedy that at some point. >.<

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
Right, to clarify, by "get over yourself", I wasn't referring to you specifically but to the general American assumption that the entire world shares their culture. Sorry, unfortunate-nerve-touching there...
Edit: Used by various native cultures long before the fur traders! Can't forget them. That's where the fur traders got it from and all.
Edit Edit: Here's a better picture of what proper pemmican looks like. I've never actually had pemmican, now I think about it...

Gwyn.
Do you have any idea what traditional American cuisine is like?
ANYTHING CONTAINING THAT MUCH MEAT AND FAT AND IS THE MOST AMERICAN MEAL EVER.
Have you ever seen Regular Ordinary Swedish Mealtime? It's totally unrelated to this conversation.
There is nothing more Internet-American than the combination of unhealthy and bacon. WE WORSHIP unhealthy and bacon, practically. Really, yeah.Last edited by MoonCat; 2012-08-18 at 10:55 PM.

We don't need people like the Canadian EMT guys or that Japanese newspaper that eats burgers the size of a small child in order to win on gluttony. You guys have people who eat that horrendously and are famous for it. In America, such acts of gluttony are not newsworthy, because you can see them every day. =P

How apropos. I just finished making up a whole pan of bacon. Why? Just so that I have some ready-to-eat bacon over the next few days. Not that I didn't eat a piece before storing it away. Quality control, we'll call it.

Computer: No. Because **** YOU, MOONCAT! Go back to flash games like when you were eight!
Gwyn, for that combination of unhealthy and bacon, your new nationality is now Internet-American. Time to say goodbye to Canada.

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
If you don't want to actually mod your Minecraft install (because that can break when new versions are released), see if you can find a program called Minutor--that allows you to open your Minecraft map outside the game. So long as the stuff you've built is reasonably obvious from the air you can find out its coordinates, and then use the F3 key (which shows your current map coordinates) to figure out a direction to travel in to get there.

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
On the topic of last names; Part of me wants to put my last name up here in case anyone wants to attempt to guess what it means. (Seriously, I still don't know fully! Damn spelling not being standardised in the sixteen hundreds... I blame the whole thing on the illiteracy of former generations! Nah... Just kidding, it really is unknown.)
But, considering its rarity and the fact I've already said numerous times what country I live in, you'll be able to track me down. And then crazy jet-lagged people could attack me in the street!

Aquiring bacon is a difficult task here in israel.
VERY expansive.
Somthing i REALLY REALLY like is to take the remaining chicken wings from the soup, coat them like a schnitzel and fry them.
