What I mean is what is the plot of the strip in question? What are they doing?

I hesitate to answer that because different people have different thresholds of what they consider spoilers.

I guess it's safe to say, it's a story setup strip. Roy lays out where they stand and what they should do, they decide to go find an adventure to raise some cash, and they all make the dubious decision to trust Elan's judgement on where to find an epic story.

As much as i love the work of rich burlew, I'm not going to buy a magazine just for a page of oots. besides, I'm fairly confident all those strips will be collected and published as extra material on one of the books sooner or later.
