Re: Amidus Drexel's Alliterative and Awe-Accentuating Anvil of Random Banter CLXXXVI
I have so many things I want to respond to. And part of me is urging myself to switch to my one and only pony avvie just to freak LaLa.
But arghlblarghl cream puffs are good and the Egyptians had 3-valve speculas and male catheters and I see all the little bone fragments wandering around on my brain having a party and they it's like a black holes into the detists chair sucks them away.
...
Not sure where I was going with that. Woohoo, medical history of Ancient Egypt!

Re: Amidus Drexel's Alliterative and Awe-Accentuating Anvil of Random Banter CLXXXVI
I'll think about it. I may not use it, but it'd be interesting to have around.
Cream puffs ARE good! I could eat a whole box of 20 without evne thinking about it.
One of these days you're gonna have to tell me all you know about Egypt and stuff. Might be cool to get the DND campaign in a pyramid some day~
Never heard of it.

Not for a looooooooooooong time. Two and a half years of seminary made that hard to do consistently. Besides the occasional burpees my exercise has unfortunately been limited. Ah well, with any luck I'll be able to keep up the habit through Christmas break and into the next semester.

Re: Amidus Drexel's Alliterative and Awe-Accentuating Anvil of Random Banter CLXXXVI
Clerics however don't, they get enough BAB (and don't even need it thanks to Divine Might) and with the war domain they can and frequently are even better than martial classes at melee.
Heck; a cleric of Mystra, the goddess of magic, can trash most martial classes with a lance and buffing himself up and no martial proficiency whatsoever. The Iron Avatarist Crypt of Fame - Exorcising photobucket from the historic archives of the forum.

Re: Amidus Drexel's Alliterative and Awe-Accentuating Anvil of Random Banter CLXXXVI
I swear to gods, I will answer every single thing that has been said that interested me once I'm done with Thursday. After that, I have essentially nothing big until the trip. And Christmas shopping. Oh god.
Also, my subconcious clearly hates me. I just spent fifteen valuable minutes staring engrossed at an old Where's Waldo book of mine I still have. I never even looked at it for years, and just now, it becomes the most fascinating thing on earth??

Re: Amidus Drexel's Alliterative and Awe-Accentuating Anvil of Random Banter CLXXXVI
If they are humorous reasons, then I see that being a fun thing to read.
Go forth and put words on paper such that we may be amused by your intellect!
Hopefully, I won't be crazy enough to write up a list of reasons for because that won't turn out anywhere near as good.
Indeed. After all, it could be useful at some point in the future.
Anyway... Let me know how your thinking goes and I'll think about things in response.
No... I'd say you'd be some intelligence based cleric variant with less of a focus on martial ability and more on being all smart and knowledgeable.
I'm sure such a class exists, but my brain can't think of it...
Hmm... Could be because one has to do something in one's spare time. And if one has no hobby or interesting books to read, then staying fit is a reasonable method of staving off insanity.
Alternatively, take up embroidery or some other craft. (I suggest metalworking of some form or another. Why, I have no idea.)
I'd congratulate you on knowing that small piece of knowledge, except that it was obvious from the quotation used.
Well, he is rather tricky to find from time to time. And when one's brain has been taxed by other tasks, those that require almost no thought are a perfect way for it to recuperate.
After all, it doesn't actually take a huge amount of brainpower to find him, merely concentration and a keen eye. The rest of the brain can turn off.
In other news: I have just finished installing Starcraft II and updating it. A long period which I spent reading the new Lemony Snicket that Mynxae gave me today. I finished reading it halfway through and demand more.
Lemony Snicket writes books that are so interesting yet so short. It is clearly a scheme by him to make more money.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

I forgot to take pictures, however, as I think some of you might enjoy them. Oh well, there are always other ways...
*waves and winks back*
May I suggest thinner planks and heafty amounts of glue? Laminated wood can, if done right, reach the strenghts of steel, all while being lighter. Given, students armed with rollers won't make industrial quality, but still.
Be acurate, but warn the teacher of the squicky details on beforehand. Make it her decision, not yours.
Protip, when translating to another language, make sure that the word is a noun before using it as such. Right now, you've said "the resistance-" (and the following word has to be feminine).
May I suggest faux German? Less glaring to those who know it, and it's possible to make it look better in English instead. How about "Der Resistanz"? Not that I'll ever join your cause...Last edited by Teddy; 2012-12-11 at 04:47 AM.

I see what you did there
anyway, I picked up where I left with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (you know, the one that's basically part 2 but a tiny bit different), and I must say it's a great game. It handles reasonably well (at least the parkour part, fighting sucks with deadlocks). and it's one of those very few games I really want to go for the completion... (never have that, most of the time I jsut rush through to the end of the story)...Warlock Poetry?
Or ways to use me in game?

Terry PRatchett quotes and people I wanna talk to and 1:33 in the morning and I'm still 400 words short. And I'm worried I wont be albe to wake up in the moring, it's not that I care about keeping working o nthis.
Dammit, I wish I could work well without being under pressure. Every damn time! I can't even function until the last minute! And then I get an excellent score, which really kills me, because it makes me think how awesome I'd be if I were actually able to devote a whole month to a project instead of 6 and a half hours.

Metalworking is awesome if you can make it work. I wholeheartedly support this suggestion, and if I actually can make things work myself, I think I may post a tutorial for how to do fine casting (whitecasting, to invent a new term). It's pretty fun, if a bit fruitless at the moment...
