Hey, some of my great-grandparents were Polish immigrants, and I find those jokes at least moderately hilarious. It depends on how well they were done.

There's actually nothing wrong with the latest versions of IE. Just make sure to keep it up to date, as you should any browser.

And there is the crux of the issue. It's picked on because it's seen as an "easy target", not because there's anything particularly wrong with it.

Well, it certainly crashes more often (although that's probably because I haven't updated it in a while). It's faster, though, and I can deal with it crashing every once in a while if I don't have to wait a long time for sites to load. (and, unlike IE, when Firefox crashes, it reopens all of my tabs, instead of bringing me back to my homepage)

It's not actually all that faster, and I don't know what you're doing wrong with IE, but when my IE crashes it brings up a "restore tabs (and windows)" page.

Chrome is faster, less likely to get viruses, and has better features than IE. I prefer Firefox for some specific uses, but overall I use Chrome.

Except for all the dodgey practices, the fact that it cannot be installed correctly, and the tracking.

Agreed. It's a nice browser besides the whole "Google is watching" stuff, though.

How much different from Chrome is Iron?

Pretty much identical, minus tracking and some other minor things. My only gripe is that I feel they went one step too far with removing things when they removed automatic updates. It should ask you for permission when you install to do automatic updates, and default to "check, but ask for permission to download and install".

That's a complete myth. No major browser is more secure than any other. Just keep them all up to date (and don't make me dump sources on you ).
