Ok, so I was thinking about how maybe we could use spectroscopy to figure out what pale fire's made of. I was thinking, maybe we could light someone on fire, look at it with a primitive spectroscope, then subtract the colors standard to a normal burning human. Then it occurred to me, and it's just too perfect not to be true: pale fire is people! Bwahahaha, ultimate plot twist!

I only have ever been told i have two doppelgangers. In HS I looked a little like Michael Bolton from Office Space (long hair, glasses and white) and had been teased for that one, but the other one was at my university. Several of my friends told me that they approached this one dude thinking he was me, but with died black hair and a yankees cap.

I sat next to him in a philosophy class 2 years later, and he told me that a bunch of his friends thought they saw him, but with blond hair and a chicago bears hat. We had a good laugh and I hadnt talked to him since.

Will their character sheets get eaten? Will you force them to eat their own character sheets? Oh the humanity! And the gnomeity. Not the elfity though, they are totally down with eating paper.

Yeah, we're all friends from high school. DreamingMage got me into D&D actually, although I like to think that I'm a better DM than he is (and he is a better player than I am, sadly). I'm just a very competitive person, so its usually better for me to just start off holding as much power as possible - what's better than being the overdeity of the setting?

I would not call you incompetent in the slightest... you clearly know how to make good characters crunch-wise, but fluff-wise I would rank you pretty high up there. As a DM, I usually consider a well-rounded character who is interesting to DM better than one who can defeat any foe.

In my senior year my french teacher was brand new, fresh out of college. Her first name was Amber, so my glib self decided to call her by her first name. I have a history of being flirtatious with my french teachers starting with that one and continuing through college, which I could go on at another time. Probably when I need to get on 3secs good side when I want some sort of untyped bonus from the gods themselves.

Anyway, so she gets engaged to her college sweetheart. They had dated since their first year of college, and it was way cute. Anyway, she went to the same undergrad that i would attend the next four years, and they have a really nice church that is the highest point in campus with a nice view of the hills that performs weddings for free to Ohio U alumni. Flash forward to early october, I run into Amber and her sorority sister bridal party doing a bar crawl for her bachelorette party. They are all wasted. I did not give into the temptation to get her to cheat before she gets married, but I did spend some time in the corner with one of her bridesmaids and got her number.

During my winter break before the highschool went on winter break, I visited Amber in her classroom after classes let out, we shared a laugh, and we have been friends ever since

Note on my story, that is not the start of me flirting with french teachers, it is the start of me having hot french teachers. My first french teacher was 90 and actually french, so she thought I was a darling. My other french teacher was my buddy's mom, and so it was more like friendly stuff.
