Default Lynn Willis (CoC RPG co-creator) passed away

Lynn Willis was one of the co-creators of the Call of Cthulhu Role-Playing Game.

On January 18th, 2013, he passed away in a hospital awaiting treatment for an illness he had.

Rest In Peace, Willis. Thank you for all the fun and joy you brought to us with your work.

    This hobby, dying? Never!

But we are losing our founders.

On the brightside, at least that means the hobby has survived long enough for its founders to start dying of old age. I think there's something to be proud and happy of about that.

    Still, RIP.
Thanks to Pesimismrocks for my awesome avatar, and Gaiyamato for the game that inspired it!

    Dear All,

This news gives me pause. I exchanged letters with Mr. Willis some twenty years ago.

CoC remains the best game I never really played. A skill deficit and poor decisions led to my missing out on it.

    He's in my prayers.
