    I'm claiming Sienna for Hragol.
As for the pre-game RP, In theory, I'm all for those. I probably won't be posting this weekend however, as I seem to have a lot of work that needs doing.

Tome will speak in Bolded Deep Sky Blue to reflect (well, refract..) his metalline structures.

Glad to be picked, I'll make sure to get the rest of my equipment picked out when I'm not at class. I would personally love to see some Pre-Adventure RP.

Don't want to see this one dying as well while your off doing... things.

    Hello again only1doug.

Hi again Techwarrior, I was glad to see that as the only two trap capable characters we didn't eliminate one or other of us, look forward to playing with you again.

please call me Doug, I only need the only1 when there are other Dougs about.

I'll happily Pre Adventure RP, gets the character developed before the action kicks in.

I'd imagine that Rhalic will be teleporting in to the vicinity of Dra Duum, perhaps to a guard outpost or evacuation point or something similar.

(obviously he wouldn't head into the middle of the Occupied Stronghold, Stupid he isn't).

(Silly Villains and their Gloating, such a cliche...)

Dirk will use DarkOrchid as his speaking color.
It's actually funny that in "dwarven" campaign we have 2 dwarves, one of which heavily templated =] Not that it's a bad thing.
We also have 4 Wizards, 3 Duskblades, and 2 Unseen Seers.
It is going to be a wonderful team =]

    And I'm definitely up for a pre-adventure.

"You mean, more than those who believe stories of demons
being summoned, and the ultimate war of good and evil,
and barons who bathe in blood of virgins?"
"Well, yes. Didn't quite buy that?"
    "I don't believe in virgins."

Well, my backstory would point to just being drug out of the ruins being how we all met. Maybe Rhalic heard about the warforged being reactivated after Teleport-ing in?

I honestly can't remember if I put ranks in Search...
I know I took Skill Mastery in Search, Disable Device, Open Locks, Spellcraft, Concentration, Escape Artist, and... Decipher Script maybe. Can't check while I'm on campus though.

Will do Doug. I'd say call me Tech, but you being one of the only people who doesn't put a space and/or capital W in my username makes me feel pretty good.

I was actually going to throw you all into the small Dwarvern/Gnome/Half-ling settlement within Mirror Altiuiri's Lair known as Doll Quellar. Mirror Altiuiri translates into Mirror Wings to those of you who know Draconic and he is the Silver Dragon that agreed to shelter the left overs of your three peoples. Doll Quellar translates to Doll House and is what he calls the area in his lair he has allowed you all to live in.

How you got there is upto you, however, to facilitate those whom wished to be taking a B-line towards Dra-Duum you would have been picked up on the outskirts of the Stronghold by one of the many scouting parties that patrol the lands seeking out survivors and bringing them back to Doll Quellar.

You would all be spending the Week Pre-Rping your preparations; most of which would essentially be good old dwarvern drinking in the Boar & Battle-axe sharing your war stories.

Would saying that I didn't get reactivated until they drug me back to Doll Quellar be out of the question?

    Perfectly fine! :)

Funny game, see if you can match char to scores.
(Because some of you wanted to see the scores but I dont want to tell you who got what, so I will let you guess instead.)

    {table=head]Name| Fluff| Power| Player| Equipment| Spells| Sheet
    A| 6| 9| 9| 7| 8| 6

    I suspect I am either A or B. I think I would prefer to be B.

Edit: that dragon is rather arrogant, is he not?
Edit 2: I just realized that that is like saying that giraffes are tall.

    Yes giraffes are tall. :)

Your guess is entirely based on the Power score? :P

Yep. Although I might be wrong, depending on what you expect the wizards to be up to. They might very well wreak more havoc than Hragol does.

I'd like to be E (based on sheet, I put a lot of effort in :p) but I haven't looked into it in depth yet (spent the last 2 hours commuting + talking to wife an kids).

Its nice to see that we all got 8 or 9 as our player rating, glad the GM thinks highly of us.

As I said, I expected 7's and no one got below a 7 for player rating. :)

So far 2 of you have guessed your scores correctly (on your first guesses). :)

As to the power of our Frenzied Berserker whilst he might be the most powerful in a straight up fight there are going to be quite a lot of occasions when you think: "damn it this encounter was literally designed to piss me off"

Essentially because most of it is designed to stop char's such as yours from cake-walking! :)

Well my sheet was an incomplete mess until a short while ago, so I am probably C or D. I didn't put much focus on raw power and a lot of emphasis on fluff, and have little actual gear, so I'm probably C.

Addendum: Sabina will speak in this regal and dignified purple.

I suspect ranged attacks, traps, and dangerous terrain, miss chances, annoying spellcasters, illusions, and just plain old more enemies than he can hit at once, spread out so that cleave won't avail him.
Be adviced that ranged attackers and chasms will be dealt with by means of jump checks, (High strengh, enhancers, stance, and haste) and that he can ignore difficult terrain. Miss chances will probably render him quite useless.

I have True Seeing, and with all the other Arcanes, I could easily drop Necromancy as well and go Focused Specialist Diviner for more uses of it.

Hm... Might drop Necromancy anyway and switch my specialization to Conjuration then.

Warforged can be healed by a line of arcane spells analogous to Cure X Wounds, so I have my own. Not that that helps any of you guys.

Well, I don't have necromancy for wizard either. Not to meta too much, but there are some really handy spells there and it'd be nice if somebody could use them.

Also, we are going to have the most ridiculously bloated spellbooks with this many wizards swapping spells.

I can swap for Necro if that would be better, I'd have to double check to make sure that the Repair X aren't Abjuration, but with a Focused Specialist Diviner, an Abjurant Champion, and a Swiftblade I really need to carve out a magical niche for myself. Necromancy seems as good as any to me.

Oh, I'll still be a knowledge junkie mechanic from the shadows, I just don't want to try playing catch up with people who've built their characters for other specialties. I was planning to use Ennervation a bunch anyway, what with being able to sneak attack with it (sadly not for 8d6 additional negative levels, but negative energy damage is pretty good too).

I didn't change mine too drastically, just changed the focus a tad. Instead of "having a 58 AC (which was easily doable with her previous build) and also maybe dispelling some things and knowing a lot" she focuses more on shutting down dangerous magic and also being a heavily defensive fighter (but not with a 58 AC) and knowing lot. It just seemed like that AC was a bit much

If one of our wizards can free up two feats Arcane Disciple (healing domain) + Touch of Healing would give us unlimited out of combat healing / day to 1/2 hitpoints at the cost of one 2nd level or higher spellslot. Edit: rats, don't think anyone has enough wisdom to learn prepare or cast... needs a wisdom stat of 10 + spell level...

Edit: or if the GM allows it the draconic aura feat taking the dragon shamans vigor aura would grant fasthealing to 1/2 hitpoints for just one feat. (Not normally available as the feat specifies a list of auras which vigor aura is not on).

Hehe, in the last run I had a Dungeon Crasher Bear Warrior with 92 AC and 80 Str... But compared to the rest of the group 58 is a little high... :)

On that note... Some of the things in this campaign are tough.
Not every fight is designed for you to axe your way through the enemy, most of them yes... but not all.
Dont be afraid of using your free actions to shout "run!" if things seem a little too hot to handle, perhaps mr barbarian can hold the door shut whilst you cast some appropriate buffs/wall of stone over the door and continue on in another direction as though everything is tickerty boo. :)

I am saying this nice and early so by the time such a situation occurs this warning is not fresh in your mind, then I can quote it and say I told you so later. :)
