Surdrak is well aware of the hypocrisy in his words and finds it funny.
He quickly turns his look into the well hole to check if the bucket is still there.

Elsee playfully kicked at Jadeite's leg as badger's comment reminded her of something, causing her to poke and prod through her own hair.

"Yeah and that just gets yer ears aaalll tingly doesn't it ya necrophile"

She grinned and giggled at her own little joke before finally finding what she was looking fore, sure enough there was a large round bulge on her head that she couldn't feel as being a part of her, and from the way it was pulsating, it was safe to say Lil'Miss was safe and alright, probably managed to either climb into or already be inside an air bubble trapped by her hair as she dove, or perhaps the parasite simply knew how to breathe under water or hold it's breath for a long time, it would make sense given she had her face jammed in Elsee's flesh half the time. Elsee made a mental note to have Naga babysit next time she decided to go swimming.

[Dusk Eclipse]

"Stubborn Old man, he breaks his wrist and I have to do his work.... could have asked a cleric and he would have been better in 5 minutes, hell it wouldn't have costed a single copper coin; but NO "I thought I taught you better than to rush this thing" Artorias muttered to himself as he walked down the road, having just finished a delivery of freshly sharpened swords for some rich family's personal guard.

He was so deep in thought that he almost missed the big dog keeping guard over a well. "Naga?" The dog barked at him as if acknowledging him. "If you are here... it means The Badger must be near." Artorias hadn't seen his friend a lot in the last weeks, he had to help his family; but he knew Cecil's execution has rattled them.

"Hey boy, where is the Badger? huh boy?"

Naga looks into the well, then turns back to Artorias and barks.

Meanwhile, underground, Jadeite looks back down from the ceiling as his spell expires. "This tunnel is a wonderful example of cooperative arcantech; Dierdre could not have built this by herself, assuming there are more of these tunnels beneath every well." He turns to the others. "Nevertheless, should we return to the surface? There may be another exit if we keep traveling in this direction."

Badger nodded and then hefted the corpse onto her shoulder. She was slowed by its weight, but still could keep up with the goblins shorter legs. She had said this beggar would get a funeral, and a funeral she would provide.
