As realization of what the goblins have done begins to penetrate their angry drunken minds, they begin shaking from fear of retribution and having bitten off more than they can chew.

Artorias lies on the tavern's floor groaning softly.

"Artorias!" Sora shouts, running up to him and channeling a healing spell into him, leaving herself open to attack. The drunken goblin with the mug again misses, but the one with the dagger cuts a deep slash along her arm.

Elsee's ears perked up as she heard the bar go silent, followed by the sounds of heavy footsteps moving away from her. Curious, Elsee silently hugged the wall of the bar and made her way to the broken window her victim-Drow had created just a few moments ago, Peering inside silently to see what was going on.

Moving carefully without exposing himself, Artorias reposition himself and attacks the Goblin with the Knife at the same time he says some very unflattering thing about his mother in goblinoid, trying to get him to completely focus on him

Cautious and wary of the sharp, lethal blade, Alim fails to put his full power into the hit; it falls short of the drunken goblin, who just laughs.

Artorias, on the other hand, whacks the goblin who stabbed him hard over his head. He staggers, but is still conscious...And even angrier at the human for the things he said.

The goblin chasing down Alim is sent flying a few feet, but manages to right himself, though he's unable to use the momentum to land a blow.

The one attacking Jadeite, however, manages to just duck under Artorias' glaive. He springs up, and plunges his dagger into the elf's stomach; Jadeite can't help but let out a sharp agonized gasp.

"!!!"

It hurts, a sick blinding pain, possibly more than Jadeite's ever felt in his long life.

"I shall not die in a filthy tavern," Jadeite says through gritted teeth. He summons the strength to step before the goblin, trapping the creature between himself and the wall. He raises up one hand, wreathed in a pale green at the base, bursting with color at the slim fingertips. "But I cannot say the same for you. Say goodnight!"

Blinded and stunned for 4 rounds, then stunned for one.

The force of Jadeite's blow knocks the goblin back against the wall, stunning and blinding him. Though he's too strong to be knocked out proper, he's effectively out of the fight.

His snake hisses, and Jade touches the viper's head with one hand while clutching his would with the other. He says, "I would like to as well, Hemlock, but he is quite incapacitated, and I fear killing him would cause unnecessary trouble."

Seeing that some, but not all of those involved had decided to flee the Badger took a short step back and quickly let two arrows fly toward the goblin threatening Alim.

The first arrow misses, but Badger's second hits hard in the goblin's arm. It would have left a deep gash if not for the enchantment, but the drunken goblin's still standing and flailing his mug, long since emptied of beer.

From her position at the broken window Elsee was able to watch everything that was going on, well at least everyone was making a run for it, but surprise-surprise the pissed off goblins had started trying to kill the paleskins that burst in armed and ready at the front door. She was almost tempted to cheer for her brother goblinoids but quickly decided against it, instead sinking down out of sight, Alim ruined his reputation among the Plavaan by showing he was working with the humans who attacked the bar, no way was she doing the same, they'd need some Plavaan on the inside after this whole mess after all.

Everybody is too focused on the fight to see Elsee.

Alim's luck finally takes a turn for the better. Spotting an opening, the goblin swings his blade in an arc and finally strikes home. The blow would have cleaved his foe open if not for the enchantment, but instead it just lays him out flat.

As Alim puts his whole body weight into the blow, the goblin behind him tries whacking him with his mug yet another time, and yet again misses.

The Badger had already drawn another arrow and loaded her bow as she spun to scan the room for any remaining combatants. Raising her eyebrow at the one before her she gave a small smile, and aimed at the goblins foot.

Naga came trotting in from outside where she had been watching the people fleeing the bar. The Badger looked around, spotting the goblin who had actually injured Artorias. She pointed to him "He used lethal force within the city limits, against the laws which are set forth."

The goblin is no match for Badger...

After the fight ends, the bartender, a half-hobgoblin with messy brown hair, shakily gets up from where he was hiding. "T-Thank you," he says, though his eyes narrow when Badger claims responsibility. "I'll be by tomorrow." He walks over and nudges the unconscious goblin with his foot. "He and his pal have been causing me trouble for some time. Frankly this was happening sooner or later."

"His accomplice was lethally armed as well," Jadeite hisses, trying to hold in the bleeding wound in his belly. He looks as though he has a lot to say, but would rather do it in private.

Sora is a little shaken up, but grateful the fight is over. She takes a look around to see who is the most hurt. As she spots Jadeit, she walks over and converts Bless into a Cure Light Wounds.

"Much appreciated," Jadeite says as his wound knits together a bit more. He pulls up the unconscious goblin who stabbed him with some effort, and asks the others, "What are we legally allowed to do with these miscreants?"

The Badger walked around checking on the other fallen fighters, making sure that their injuries were not going to harm them in the long run, before picking up the other goblin.

"We bring them to the watch. You come with, Art can too if he wants. The blood will help as proof." The Badger hoped she would not have to mention that they had technically incited the fight, things like this had happened before and people knew to keep quiet. She slid her bow back in into the quiver, watching as it disappeared into an impossible space and recollected her arrows and axe, putting them back in their places as well. "Let's head out, but be fast the Plavaan never like to see us carry their friends to the watch."

Jadeite nods. Once the barkeeper is out of earshot, he asks the group, disbelief clear in his voice. "This is what you do? Risk your life on petty squabbles?"
