my first gold! ^_^ yay! And holy smokes, in a contest with 21 participants!

I honestly didn't think a build with wizard in it could possibly get first because of the unoriginality. And I only spent about 3 hours on Aelquis, whereas I agonized over Adel for a day or two, and pinned my hopes on him. Ironically, my goal with Adel was to get a 5 in Elegance (he didn't), whereas with Aelquis I was thinking "f* it, I'll just do the easy and fun build." The thing I tried hardest on for Aelquis was the backstory, which I wrote after watching Despicable Me and tried to put as much emotion into as I could.

Congratulations to Draz74, Piggy Knowles, and Deadline. To all the new people: good job putting in the effort to create an entry. If you want a trophy, don't give up!

Massive gratz belong to you, and the disparity in expectations and results is part of what makes this fun. Like any other game, if we knew the results before starting would we bother?

OK, so nedz claimed Hyandalindë. That means the only thing missing is Leander Valentine. I'm going to guess Venger, based on the formatting? I know Venger submitted Robert Paulson, but it's possible two builds were sent in. Just trying to get this complete for archival purposes.
