Re: A Life Disturbed: IC
"Well, at least we won't starve while we're here."
He tosses one of the fruits to Annie."Reach down into your heart and you'll find many reasons to fight. Survival. Honor. Glory. But what about those who feel it's their duty to protect the innocent? There you'll find a warrior savage enough to match any dragon, and in the end, they'll retain what the others won't. Their humanity."

Ambrose sits out on the beach next to Annemarie, looking out at the water.
"It's so peaceful here, you'd think that the world wasn't in danger.""Reach down into your heart and you'll find many reasons to fight. Survival. Honor. Glory. Annemarie smiles and tosses a pebble out into the waves.
"Yeah. I almost wish we could live like this forever... Guess that's kind of silly in the big picture, right?"
She laughs and tosses another rock to the sea.High School Harem Comedy, my original game system!

Re: A Life Disturbed: IC
Ambrose looks at Annemarie. She seemed so innocent, even after all she'd witnessed. He wondered how she was able to keep that innocence. He sighs a bit.
"We need to get off this island. My armor can help me swim pretty well. I'm not sure swimming is the best way to get out of here, though.""Reach down into your heart and you'll find many reasons to fight. Survival. Honor. Glory. Re: A Life Disturbed: IC
It took awhile, but eventually Ambrose and Anne made it to the mainland. Or at least a larger island. They had spent a fair amount of time on the tiny island, if only because it made for a nice reprieve from their most recent turmoil.
From the beach, they could make out a trail leading up to the town that they could see from the island. They estimated that it would take about a full day to walk there, but their was plenty of fruit trees around so food wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, they had spent most of the day just getting to this beach, so they decided to camp for one more night under the stars and head toward the town in the morning.
---
The town was a fairly good size with nothing fancy. Ambrose found it reminiscent of Telas. The towns name is Hfrensiga. However, to Anne and Ambrose, it sounded like people were saying Frenzia as the people spoke with strong accents. It seems everyone here speaks a native language as well as common. Hfrensiga is a mining village, which would explain why Ambrose and Anne didn't see any boats around, despite the nearby village.
It looked as if the town mined the very cliff upon which the town rested, though, not directly beneath the town. From Hfrensiga, the two could see the rest of the island. The island is fairly large, though the entire center of it looks to be inhabited by only forests. There is also only one other settlement on the island and it is on the opposite (northern) side of the island. They learned that the trip will take three days, but the it will be safe and simple, because a well maintained road kept the mining town and the port town connected.
---
Upon arriving in Kyrfygn (Keerfin), Anne and Ambrose realize that it is a much larger town. The port town is both a trade point for the many minerals and gems mined in Hfrensiga, but also a stopping point for many travelers sailing through the archipelago.
Hopefully, the two of them will be able to find someone who can help them find their way.
