    Default Reseeding the Swarm [OOC]

And it is live. Here is the OOC thread for the Swarmlord game 'Reseeding the Swarm'. I'll have player tables up in a moment, however if everyone could repost their character links and links to used homebrew/third party whilst choosing speaking colours, that would be great.

Also, for future reference, Swarmlords are treated as having 7hd/Level in infested/assimilated/embraced available, this is so our resident swarmlord can actually have everyone in his[her] swarm whilst having some of her own creatures to play with. And to maintain game balance for If I throw another survivor at you lot.
This number will drop if players do until it reaches a normal 4hd/level.

    Evolution points:
As per Lix's judgement, evolution points do not get divided further by 3 when calculating, this means:
-Infested should have 20 Evolution points
    -Assimilated should have 33 Points
    -Embraced should have 50+[Cha/2*ECl/2] points.
Can everyone adjust their evolution points accordingly.

    And IC is up.

As minor notes for me, the little world info.
    Galea
    Spoiler
    Show

Galea is a prosporus continent, standing at the dizzying hights of success. Wizards have started tinkering towards the tippyverse even as extraplaners who know politics see that the ‘Civilized Empire’ is falling, with its dragons, men, elves and all others who submitted to others, were they given a chance.

You however, are amongst those who didn’t, living amongst the Galean mountains, you are amongst those who seek their own lives, seeking merely a little prosperity and freedom. The Wild however, is a fantastic place, with creatures of all type, planer and extra-planer, it is almost like a nexus for the strange, a place of adventure, adventurers and life.

    Swarm Info
    Spoiler
    Show

Whilst the wilds is a place of freedom, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have it’s own kingdom. A relatively recent appearance, the Swarmlord [Her own tittle from when she had to carve out her own place of safty] Ania is short for a kobold, but would be powerful compared to some dragons. Slowly she has experimented and accepted those seeking safety and some measure of power into her swarm, ever growing and prosperous, it was almost large enough to need to leave the caves. This rate had then expanded as she found success, creating the first teir of swarmlords from close friends, rulers and importent tribe members of those who were willing to submit to mutual protection, pacts of non-aggression, and the idea of peaceful advancement, however, only a score were in this group. But, each of these had one or two 'children', who were also swarmlords, such as the Muse Lady Venay'ya, who took in Tanith.

And then they came. Filthy adventurers, soldiers and wizards, seeking to quash that which may pose a threat, or start warfare in attempts to expand the ‘civilized’ empire. Or could cause subversion of their own civilization… They came in their numbers with their siege engines, and slowly, you were forced back, until the escape tunnels were opened, and you were amongst those told to flee bareing with you one of the successful experiments in reproducing more similar to her, you bore a swarmlord. But now the main bodyguard is dead, and you run, and you are sure you are followed by the three that had the rest of the guard pull off to fight them. The pesky druid and two arcarnists… Perhaps if you run far enough, you can achieve asylum.

But the one thing that is worst, worse than the isolation and fear, is the sudden cut off and disarray. Yesterday, Ania died, and the Swarm is well and truly broken as you keep running for your lives, following her last directive.

What are you guys thinking? We can fly people over in my hat and the various bags, in Kihlesa's claws and the swarmlings (I think they can carry it)

The swarmlings have a carrying capacity of a five pound light load and a ten pound medium. So it depends. As it is, we have a Large Dragon who should be able to support at least one party member, Tanith, who can fly herself, Turik, who I doubt would be bothered "wading" through the stream while carrying another two people or so with him, Thala and the Con Brothers.

Kihlesa can probably carry at least two people; she has a saddle and she can carry someone in her claws.

Assuming you are looking at the pillars first, you easily pick out major features of each god and plane, and can probably rattle off a few select pieces of scripture from some gods.
Other than general alignemt as the idea of good versus evil as bards tell it in traditional tales, which they accept is flawed and prone to points of veiw [and yadda yadda yadda], as well as order versus anarchy.

As a player, you note these are the outer 8 alignments to the alignment pool, and [IC and OOC] realise that the center is the point of balance, or True Neutral.

The Symbol itself seems to be one of connections, the circles and city seem to have nothing in common, but you have a flash of insight, a city at the center of the universe perhaps?

Running through stories, nothing of your religious knowledge helps, but you have heard stories of the random portals which open amoungst the planes in the mountains, but you have no real knowledge of them beyond that they tend to drop fantastical creatures through them with strange stories. Perhaps one of those native to the mountains might know more.

To save time on magic/psionic detection, the half sphere 'reeks' of Evocation/Metacreativity [Combined one might guess it makes sound or light] and Enchantment/Telepathy magic/psionics. Nothing else seems magical.

Given the hive mind, you may let everyone else know these conclusions about as soon as you come to them.

Nobility gives you absolutely no clue.

Knowledge history [a good roll by the way] reveals nothing of such a group historically but a single scrap which leaps to mind after a moment.

"They mock the gods, we exist as their playthings."

You can't remember who spoke it.

Sense motive? Hmm. Ok I can see that.

I only rolled perception because I think I was thinking more obvious threats...looking to see somebody walking towards us carrying an obvious weapon or giving us an very evil eye... or growling at our direction...

I'll roll both next time for sure XD.

If its ok that I can roll it after the fact... Sense Motive (1d20+2)[22]
